“We had a short but very sweet stay at The Carden Arms and will definitely be back for hopefully a longer visit next time. We stayed in the family room which our 3 & 6yo loved. Bunk beds were perfect and we all loved the big four poster bed too as well as the lovely bathroom. All the staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble, even at breakfast tailoring it for our kids. The pub had a lovely busy atmosphere in the evening and next time we’ll be coming for dinner too. Highly recommend!!”

“Excellent cafe, friendly, good food and value for money. Well that was my previous experience but all appears to have changed and I won’t be crossing their door again. Service was, well that’s the point there wasn’t any
Glad to say, we called in again as Mum went to the dentist next door and everything was great again. Guess everyone is entitled to have a bad day, and maybe they had personal problems, it can be difficult dealing with us the public all the time. So sorry for being harsh before.”
