One night stop. So glad I found this pub. Food was great, pub atmosphere and staff great, and my room was amazing. So much better than any generic hotel room no matter it's star rating.

Local place for us, our stay at was because our daughter was have a 21st party at our home so we moved out for the night. Carden was a lovely experience of timeless decor, comfort and elegant cosines.

Booked for a Sunday RoastArrived at 4pm no Roast available? Small menu with lots of dishes not available? Dissapointed..
Food very disappointing. Went for Sunday lunch which had a limiting menu. Nut roast was awful!! Service good though!

Very disappointed with our meal last night, a Friday night, limited menu, which became smaller due to food unavailable, a starter taken off, not available, only 1 steak available, chicken and ham pie not available, a pudding too unavailable!! !, there were 6 of us, we had booked a while ago, they weren't that full up!!! It was a treat for my brother's birthday, very disappointed, certainly won't be returning!!!!

Stayed over night whilst attending a New Year’s Eve party. The room was lovely and very cosy. The staff were so amazing and the extremely accommodating. We couldn’t get any taxi’s in the area to take us to the party and the manager was kind enough to have one of the members drop us off and they even collected us when it over (Thank you Lorna you’re a star!!). I cannot explain how grateful we were as we would have been left in a pickle!! I cannot recommend this place enough and we will be back!

Our service was amazing, we had a friendly and diligent waitress who was referred to as Molly definitely one of my favourite parts of this experience. Hope to see her again some time. Our food was amazing - the steak burger was cooked to perfection, will be coming back thanks for the meal. Would recommend to others.Food & drinks: Good food, cooked amazingly.
