This is a really lovely place for a coffee and a bite to eat. I just went to read my book and relax, the location is ideal such a lovely cafe, nice and clean and great service.I've only given it 3*'s because it's pricey for a coffee shop, I bought a black coffee and a cake and spent £7.50. I wouldn't go there daily, it would be a treat for me.

Lovely shop quite hidden in the countryside however worth a trip. Reasonably priced drinks however pastries more on the pricy side. Flat white was aromatic and well balanced, croissant was buttery and flakey and warmed up.Building itself is light airy and clean with simple but effective decor. However I do agree with another comment regarding the acoustics as there were quite a few noisy children when I visited which the sound really travels through the building.

I'm generally in here at least once a fortnight, riding over on my bike and storing it on the provided rack behind the cafe. The coffee is superb, the food great and it's always timely and clean. Love the place!

Been a couple times since moving to Farndon. Lovely cafe to visit, had a great selection of meals and treats. Great to see the roasting process on site. Staff are all very welcoming!Kid-friendliness: Lots of high chairs available and playing areas outside

Me and my partner come here weekly when we're out our way to walk our dog.The coffee is excellent for the most part. It's brewed well; never sour or bitter. Great flavour. Our one gripe is that we sometimes order chai lattes which come with little bits floating in them - we never had this at first, and have since asked for "no sprinkles" thinking it was something they add but we've still ended up with floating bits in the coffee. It's not pleasant. May be ground chai spices or something but we won't be ordering chais again.I also buy the beans from here to use at home quite a lot. They great and reasonably priced. Nice selection but would love to see more variation in the processes used on the beans (e.g anerobic). We've tried some of the more bog standard food and cakes which are all great. It's indicative of the rest of the menu is high quality too.The service is OK. The staff are nice enough and helpful but they don't have much enthusiasm/flare/conversation in them and it makes the atmosphere a bit flat or ordering at the till a bit awkward. Most notably there's a guy weve seen on coffee who sometimes gives you uncomfortable glancing looks while you're waiting for service. The interior is nice and usually warm. There's just a few details I'd change. The island in the middle of the floor with stuff you can purchase is a bit of an eyesore and spoils the look of the space - it would be better to capitalise on this with more seating given how busy they often are. The beams (and bolts used) along with some of the wood and chairs could do with a treatment to make them look more rustic and fit in with the overall aesthetic.Overall, a really nice place. But...I've worked in Michelin star restaurants and can tell you when the food/coffee is this good it's just such a minor shame that the atmosphere and minor visual details just stop this being a 10/10.

Super cool spot. Classy. It's more like the coffee shops I visit in America. Surprisingly hard to find a good coffee shop in the UK but this one is

A great little cafe with a farm shop next to it. Great food, good menu and I would certainly recommend a visit. I would go for five stars if the acoustics were better inside - there needs to be more soft furnishings to soften the noises bouncing around the room from those chatting away with friends.

Was a 5* but the beans on toast has halved in size since the last time we went

Little cute place, an amazing selection of coffee beans. Farm shops have some good quality unique items. It's definitely worthy of a visit.

Chosen to celebrate my nephew passing his driving test (1st time); and a good choice. Lovely location (looks considerably better than current Google Earth image!); good parking; really friendly staff. Food was very good (inevitably, preferred everyone else's!) but, considering coffee is their selling point, cups were tiny. When mine arrived, thought I must have accidentally ordered espresso instead of Americano! However, came away with a packet of Ethiopian coffee, roasted there and it is delicious.

Well what a lovely little find, had been past a few times and just had to call in, had a lovely brunch, had a bit of a wait as it was Sunday morning and all the cyclists had just landed, it was explained that we would have to wait for food and drinks but was not that long at all but well worth the wait and loved the buzz and the vibe of the place. All staff were very pleasant and efficient, food was lovely and great quality. I wanted a cake to takeaway but decided not to queue again behind all the cyclists so will be making a return trip for brunch and cake next time maybe on a week day when not to busy with the cyclists.
