Pubs • “Mark ordered the steak and kidney pie with minty mashed peas and crispy tender fries, and it was delicious! It was a generous plate... enough for two! The staff and vibe was warm and friendly.
While we enjoyed our meal we realized that the restaurant is actually a repurposed historic school house, and that the old headmaster's house is now an inn. We also learned that there is a castle with extensive garden grounds nearby.
By the time we finished our meal we already laid plans to return to the area for an extended visit. When we do, we will definitely return to this restaurant to try more of their offerings.”

“Wat een heerlijk verblijf! We werden heel vriendelijk ontvangen en er werd goed rekening gehouden met ons zoontje. Het eten was heerlijk (zowel het ontbijt als het avondeten, uitgebreid vegetarisch aanbod). We hebben geslapen in 1 van de huisjes, echt heel mooi en authentiek. Het enige wat we misten, waren traphekjes. Wat wel weer heel fijn was, is de ruime parkeerplaats!”
