Me and a work colleague decided to eat here as we were both set on an all day breakfast, we had all ready been searching and googling for the highest rating cafe.So we ordered the breakfast, haha.It came with 4 items.. bacon, sausage an egg. And one tomatoe. It did come with one round of toast, just it comes untoasted. It reminded me of a charity meal for the homeless at Christmas. The taste was there, nice quality but for £13 you should be embarrassed. It cost me just over 13 with a cup of tea.I buy breakfasts in London and walk away full bellied with change in my pocket. Won't be returning unless they half the price or serve a full English breakfast.

I dropped by today and purchased some Sausages. Trust me, these are the nicest sausages I have ever tasted. Well done!!

Not just a cafe, butchers and shop. It’s a nostalgic experience with a display of old shop fittings, items and food packaging from the good old days. Well worth a visit. The cafe and shop are lovely too.

Step back in time for an authentic cup of tea and a slice of cake. Surprised they still don’t accept white £5 notes

My favourite place to visit for a beverage the old fashioned shop display at the front of the coffee shop area is like walking back in time to the Victorian era. A must to visit just for the display or for the delicatessen.

Visited for a light lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Had sandwiches and cottage pie. The food was delicious and very good value. Very traditional and charming decor. Worth visiting as a change from the typical coffee shops.

Stumbled across this place and ended up being the highlight of our visit to Nantwich. Very reminiscent of the sorts of shops I used to get dragged around as a child. Great selection of foods, decent quality and fairly priced. Nice coffee shop at the back as well.

A great shop with friendly staff and always has something different. Excellent coffee, which can be ground on request. The café at the back is open on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (10 am to 3 pm). They serve a range of hot dishes, toasties, salads, sandwiches, and drinks. We bring visitors here, who enjoy the Yesteryear Museum.

What a surprise, a real hidden gem! Super deli which specialises in food memorabilia and goods I've never seen anywhere else - chocolate digestives with Galaxy choc, Staffs oatcake mix, unusual butchers, blancmange (not seen for years) all sorts of bottled & canned curiosities etc, etc and an old grocery display that harps back to early 20th century. if you do Christmas hampers, this is literally a one stop shop. The coffee house is great, lovely cakes, cafetieres of quality coffee, best pots of tea with china cups, interesting and tasty selection of lunch items, including cottage pie and home-made soups, proper old fashioned homemade. We also shared a raspberry & cream roulade which was to die for. Admitted, the service is a little eccentric, but it's all part of the charm, and it was quick and efficient once ordered. Not sure why some of the reviews on here, but the food's quality and you can't do that too cheap. We found it good value and will definitely go again when in Nantwich. We live in East Cheshire. This place deserves to be a popular tourist attraction. Nantwich has kept much of its original character, but has still suffered like other UK town centres with some of its oldest stores gone. We have to hope this hidden gem will not suffer the same way, I think Nantwich will miss this one if the recession hits it too.

Shame, used to be good. 3 sandwiches and a pot of tea £20. Rubbish sandwiches on cheap white bread with a mean filling. Salad OK but tired. No crisps ....

This is Nantwich's jewel in the crown.Eat here, buy your groceries here.Fine deli and nothing overpriced. The grocery museum within should be registered as a W.H.S.S.I. Most will want to linger here.Enjoy.
