Went today for Sunday lunch, was absolutely incredible. Sunday dinner plentiful, great mix of veg (not boring boiled carrots ?) and beautiful gravy and Yorkshire.we had the beef and nut roast. Kids also throughly enjoyed their mini version! Will most definitely be back!

Never been disappointed by the food here, dog friendly too and has moorings for visiting canal boats (if you lucky!) which is a great positive when visiting by

Popped in for lunch halfway through a canal walk. Lovely pub, nice garden (for the summer!). Good selection of food, I had soup and a sandwich (actually a brioche bun with fish goujons) both very tasty. Good selection of beers including Weetwood, which are excellent and local.

Lovely food served very quickly and very attentive waitresses. Nothing was too much trouble, 9 of us dining and all meals came out the same time, no one waiting.

Our first visit to The Barbridge Inn. 2 of us ordered from the regular menu and 1 from the Christmas menu, all 3 meals were amazing, I would highly recommend the slow cooked short rib of beef, it was delicious and cooked to perfection. Lovely canal side view from our table. The staff were welcoming and attentive, we will definitely return in the future.

A lovely traditional pub right next to the canal. Friendly folk. Good food. Christmas decorations and a Santa's Grotto beautifully decorated. Been twice in 2 weeks as it was enjoyable and relaxing.

A few members of our decided to have a get together for a pre Christmas dinner. The first thing you do on arrival is order drinks nearly half of our party were told the drinks they asked for they hadn't got, not unusual drinks just everyday drinks you expect to be served in a pub.. All the meals had been pre ordered from the Christmas menu with the exception of a couple of member of our party who ordered from the ordinary menu.. Starters arrived all fine apart from they hadn't catered for one member mm these were pre ordered they should know how many people ordered soup!!!! Most of us had opted for the turkey dinner now that was disappointing I didn't expect to find the precooked sliced turkey you find in the supermarkets hiding under a big ring of stuffing accompanied by four sprouts one pig in blanket two small roastes a bit of carrot and parsnip I bet between all of us the hadn't used anymore than 3 carrots 3 parsnips 4 potatoes 20 sprouts topped off with half a pint of gravy.. Desert a some of us had preordered and some our party had said they would decide on the night, after choosing something from the menu i heard sorry we haven't got that what about this then no sorry we haven't got that either.. Sorry someone has ordered sponge from the Christmas menu I'm sorry but we haven't got any.. The amount of times through the evening I heard we haven't got any was unreal..from drinks to sauces to deserts.. Then I realised hang on its a Saturday night a couple of weeks before Christmas the place has only a quarter of its capacity taken if that why isn't there many customers I think we just witnessed why..
