Went today for coffee and lunch with friends. We were seated at a table with armchair style chairs which were extremely uncomfortable, too low, and too far away from the table. We asked 2 members of staff if we could move to another empty table of which there were quite a few. They both said they would have to ask their manager, we heard the lady ask her manager who said NO, we were not asked if there was a reason behind our request. (We both have issues with our spine). The manager came and asked for food order at which point we told her that we would finish our drinks and then be leaving which we did. Went to Navio Lounge where we had a lovely lunch in a relaxed friendly atmosphere, staff were great and amazing food. Will never go to the Crown Hotel again. Customer service needs looking at.

We came for sunday roast, we have delicious food every visit and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. I recommend to all family and friends.

Variety of food to choose from on the menu, I had the gammon and it was lovely. Staff very polite! Only downside could be a little quicker on serving the food.

If you’re looking for a fantastic meal with a vibrant atmosphere in a quintessentially English pub then look no further than The Crown. A meal at The Crown is very reasonably priced with a great selection on the menu that caters for everybody’s needs and requirements. The food is cooked to perfection and leaves you wanting more, the wine list has a superb selection that will accompany whichever meal you decide on. The staff at The Crown go above and beyond, they are polite and very accommodating and don’t hover round you leaving you to enjoy your meal in peace. I’m biased as this pub/restaurant is 10 minutes away from me and is my instant first choice. but don’t take my word for it, get yourself down there.

Boxing Day lunch. Excellent service,very polite staff. Always enjoy our time at The Crown. Have stayed here and eaten here several times,always of a high standard,never had a bad meal or stay.

Great food and service , we were a party of 13 on our works Christmas Do and we all agreed it was the best one we have had in ten years. Lovely cosy setting and i will definitely book again for next year.
We went to wine Wednesday,it was very busy and there was definitely not enough staff !! Waited 20 mins to get a drink and the refills after were very slow too. We shared a starter which was ok and then the main course came which was really lovely and very hot ! Shame the experience was let down by lack of attentive staff but like I said it was very busy and the staff were run ragged ! Been lots of times before and always been brilliant with glasses always topped up but not on this occasion

Very nice restaurant, great food and good service - couldn’t ask for more ! We enjoyed starters and mains and all were very nice. My only suggestion if you are dining is to ensure you check what comes with each dish you order - we had a lamb shank that came with mash but no other vegetables - next time we’ll check! ?

The good was excellent as always. We had quite a long wait for the food but I guess that’s to do with the time of year. The Crown remains one of our favourite places to eat in Nantwich. Took along friends who hadn’t been before and they loved it too.

Consistently great food and service. We were a group of four and each meal was truly delicious. Two starters, baked goats cheese and black pudding stack were devoured quickly. We had steak skewers and they were served exactly as requested with delicious chips and garnishes. The gammon came with two eggs and mushroom and tomato plus garnishes and all meals were really substantial. All our food was hot and beautifully presented and the service was attentive but not intrusive. I highly recommend booking a meal here, you will not be disappointed. Thank you to all the staff who work so hard to maintain this standard.

Visited in December for a Christmas meal. We chose the a la carte menu. Good gluten free options and staff were very helpful. My daughter had mussels and we have never seen such a large portion! Food was lovely and hot and service was great. Price was very reasonable, we chose a bottle of Chilean Merlot and it was very good.
