I ate here following a work colleagues reccomendation . Last August. I got chatting to the owner and he recommended me a dish. .the meal was the best I had ever eaten ..and I've eaten . Curry's in Bradford. Leeds Manchester and Birmingham .. I haven't returned though only because I spend a lot of my free time at my partners house in Lancashire. .. I can highly recommend though.

I have tried many places, for long time we stayed with Naaz but unfortunately they not doing delivery. As I haven’t felt well today to drive for pickup we decide to try Shapla with delivery. There was a delivery delay (Saturday evening) that make me a bit upset but staff deal with it so great that I can’t fault them at all! We had chicken tikka Korma and honestly the best one I had for looooong time! Everything come so fresh, so hot so yummy! Naan bread delicious with fresh coriander! Look like we find our favourite Indian place. Will defo order again and again! Thank you

Oh boy, let me tell you about the fiery adventure I had at Shapla Indian Takeaway! This place is like a treasure trove of deliciousness, with food that's so hot, you'll forget about the scorching summer outside.First things first, the temperature. The food was so hot that it made me question if they secretly have a volcano in their kitchen. I mean, I've had hot meals before, but this was like eating fireballs with a side of hot lava. If you're looking to melt away your taste buds, Shapla is the place to be!Now, let's talk about the taste. It was so nice that my taste buds threw a party and invited all the flavors to dance on my tongue. The spices were perfectly balanced, like a well-choreographed Bollywood dance number. Every bite was a surprise, with flavors that hit you harder than a slapstick comedy show. Just when you think you've tasted it all, boom! A burst of deliciousness that'll make you want to break into a spontaneous Bhangra dance.I must admit, though, that Shapla isn't the cheapest place in town. But hey, good things in life come with a price tag, right? And here's the kicker—they serve portions big enough to feed an army of hungry elephants. Seriously, I ordered a meal for two, and it ended up being a feast for two weeks. I was eating leftovers like it was my full-time job!And let's not forget the takeaway experience. I went to collect my food, and it was as hot as a freshly baked samosa. I had to use oven mitts to carry it back to my car. I was half expecting smoke to come out of the bag, but luckily, it was just the tantalizing aroma of spices that filled the air. It was like driving in a cloud of deliciousness—windows down, AC on full blast, and me singing Bollywood tunes at the top of my lungs. So, if you're up for a culinary adventure that will set your taste buds ablaze, Shapla Indian Takeaway is the place to be. Just make sure you have a fire extinguisher on hand and a strong appreciation for leftovers. Trust me, your mouth will thank you, and your fridge will be packed with spicy surprises for days to come.

I’ll start off with saying that I will try this takeaway again (first order), however quite a mixed review… staff very pleasant on the phone plus delivery driver. Received on time, very hot. I’ll admit I’ve been spoiled really as I’ve eaten Indian food all over the world and experienced the absolute best of the best. I explained to the gentleman on the phone that once I find a great Indian establishment then I’ll be a regular as it’s my favourite food! Was given a price which turned out didn’t include the delivery fee. Was asked a couple of times if I wanted any breads, rice or popadoms to all of which I said no. Told him I love popadoms but can’t recall the last time I had a fresh one. Now, I recall ALL Indian deliveries to at least add one complementary one to every order. Not a one. Wasn’t impressed as they’d make a fortune out of me if they made the extra mile to put (let’s face it, was probably costs them about 3 pence to make) just one in the bag for me to try. Portions excellent sizes. Paneer dhansak average (apparently they don’t cook paneer tikka style) and came with just one ring of TINNED pineapple. Not impressed for £10 a meal. Prawn korma absolutely gorgeous with lots of coconut, very impressive. Chicken tikka byriani disappointing - dry rice, chewy chicken but omelette on top divine. Sauce that came with it had barely any sauce and very bland but lots of really yummy vegetables. The fact that they’ve changed the company location and name 3 times = bit of a red flag. So I’ll try a different one before I try them again, but come on Shapla (whatever you’re called), make more of an effort for a new customer.

We had a chicken tikka massala, pilau rice and some chips, was the best Indian takeaway I’ve had, absolutely delicious. Will 100% be going there in the future.

Haven’t had a meal from there for over 3 years so thought would give it a go. Wish I hadn’t bothered. Onion chutney was dry/tasteless, chicken madras had a good proportion of well cooked chicken, the strength was very hot but the madras tasted of nothing. To top it all it is expensive.Parking: Right outside

This place used to be good but last meal was lacking taste and over priced. Won’t be rushing back
