I highly recommend reserving a table if you fancy food .The food here is good old home cooked generous portions & reasonable prices .Sunday roast lunch is beautifully as is everything on the menu .I asked for an extra pot of gavy & it was brought to us immediately.Staff are so friendly it feels like your at home with friends.Proper pub Proper beer Proper food it's Proper good!

On this occasion we hadn't booked, but were welcomed regardless and shown to one of the last remaining tables. Service, food quality and quantity all on point and very reasonably priced. Looking forward to returning when next visiting Nantwich.

Called last evening and had the most wonderful time. The quality of the meal was superb and the service was excellent.We ordered across the tapas menu and the dishes were ready within minutes of each other arriving piping hot and absolutely delicious.Kid-friendliness: Our young grandson was made to feel just as important as any of the adults in the group and had a good time.
