Great location. The seating area outside is the best.We got moved from a table inside as it was reserved for 2 locals who like to have a drink at that table.Only stayed for one

Cosy, welcoming. Fire in the winter. In summer, plenty of outside seating and space to enjoy the views.

What a truly fabulous ‘find’. Unspoilt, cosy and with such a friendly and welcoming team.Hubby, myself and our elderly Westie popped in for lunch. We were met by a really lovely young lady who couldn’t do enough to make us feel at home, and what a great sense of humour she had too. The roaring fire was a welcome treat on a sunny but cold day. We toasted our toes whilst enjoying pink gin, a Butcombe Beer and home made harissa lamb burgers. The menu is excellent and exceptional value. Bailey was treated to two sausages whilst he enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. The Harp Inn is totally unspoilt, no pounding music or flashing neon lighting, it’s perfect for conversation and enjoying the amazing views and history. The team and Inn are fully dog friendly which is a bonus. First visit for us, but it won’t be our last. ?

Brilliant little pub, have glanced at previous reviews - tiny pub - Great location - basic menu/nothing fancy/it is what it is - terrific value for money - staff pleasant and helpful, maybe they do favour locals, however this is a proper local pub, if you wish to be fauned upon, or have a gastro experience, just get your wallet out and locate another venue, get real - 3rd visit, not local , family member studying locally - feedback, wish you served food all day - + great level walking locally for peeps that don't wish to be challenged ,
