Crazily expensive fuel compared to other NW outlets, including other shell stations. The shops ok. £1 for air is common now, and since correct tyre pressures are a safety requirement, why not make air and water for that matter free for customers; rip off.

Avoid this place if you need cheap tobacco, charging £20.40 for a 30g of gold leaf! Was £17 last week. Would rather walk to the texaco in the oldtown and get better customer service than go to this scam of a place!

Great service from manager Justine a couple of weeks ago, she really helped me out when I had an almost completely flat tyre whilst on duty. I had no money on me for the air machine but she went out of her way to assist me, put air in my tyre and checked the pressure - I had no idea what to do. This enabled me to get to a garage for a repair. Thanks so much Justine!

Went here at 3:45 am as I'm in work at 4 am. No one behind the till knocked on the window for no answer, not sure if petrol stations arnt 24 hour due to covid but everything looked like it was open all lights on and till active. Only needed a face mask and a drink for work, I have neither for a 15 hour work day, if it was open then the staff member obviously couldn't care and was sat off.
Horrible place rude staff shouting at my disabled son who was trying to help his dad with the fuel pump. Got told off discriminated against for being disabled horrible people won't be going there again.

How difficult is it to scan the new Shell Go plus card ?! Instead of being a physical card it’s now an app on the phone. Just scan the barcode and your points should be added. This seems to work fine at every other Shell station I fill up at except Runcorn! I have now lost count of how many lost points I have as a result of their inability to carry out such a simple process.
