Had a lovely anniversary meal tonight, not the first time we have been and definitely won’t be the last! The food is always incredible and the staff are so attentive and friendly especially the manager!! 100% recommend! If you like good food and a friendly atmosphere Bavette is a must!

Went here for the first time last night as a late mother's day meal and already planned to go back for my daughter's birthday. Everything about the night was so lovely. The minute we walked in we were greater by the manager Maria who was super friendly and looked after us all night and made us feel extremely welcome.Food was honestly the best I've had in a long time. Everything was cooked perfectly. Not only was the food delicious the cocktails were to die for, not to mention the sphere icecubes with flowers in.Atmosphere was lovely, felt so relaxed and cannot wait to go back.Thank you for a perfect night. See you again soon xxKid-friendliness: Kids and families are made to feel as welcome as everybody.Wheelchair accessibility: The venue is wheelchair friendly and has a lift to the downstairs toilets which I was really impressed with.

My food was okay but absolutely appalling service. My boyfriends steak was overcooked (which the waitress agreed with) and she did ask if he wanted it recooked but we didnt have time. She then brought the bill over and we said we werent happy paying £36 for the steak when he didnt eat it as it wad well done and he asked for it medium rare. The rude woman then said “i asked you twice if you wanted another”. We then asked the manager and he agreed to reduce the price. When the woman came back over she raised her voice at my boyfriend and againsaid we shouldnt be asking for a reduction on the bill as we had money off with a voucher. My boyfriend then said we wouldnt be leaving the service charge because of the way she had spoken to us and she shook her head and said ‘ridiculous’. I have never experienced such rude staff. We will not be returning

If you are planning on attending this venue, please think about group size before hand. They will ask you to pre-order your meal, cook before you arrive and re-heat once there. For a steak house, this just doesn’t work. I can only say thank you to the manager, lovely woman, however, majority of the staff don’t look like they want to be there. This is, probably, the first and last review I’ll ever write but it was needed.

I went here last year and it was amazing, faultless. Went again last night, it was dead and after the food came I understand why. The mixed vegetables side that cost an extra 5 pounds was just frozen microwaved packet veg. They were inattentive and we had to get up to get the bill otherwise may have been sat there all night. The steak was okay though slightly undercooked. There was a constant banging coming from above our heads, not sure if neighbours or having work done.When the bill came there was a massive service charge of 10 percent, I'm guessing for tips but it was NOT optional, I like to give my own tip. Won't be going again.Oh the margaritas are okay

We were a group of five celebrating a birthday, four of us ordered steak and one of us ordered tapas. Three of us ordered Octupus for starters, we eat Octupus frequently and this was not the best! It was very chewy and under cooked! We ordered two fillet steaks, rump & sirloin, we all asked for it to be cooked medium rare. The rump was ok, the sirloin hadnt been rested and was very bloody, both the fillet steaks were over cooked and ruined, they were both very dry due to being over cooked. I left my fillet steak and my husband only ate a few peices of his steak. We complained to the owner and he offered us 2 free drinks! You could see that both steaks were over cooked and ruined. When we asked for the bill the two fillet steaks were still on even though they had been ruined by over cooking them, they refused to take the fillet steaks off our bill, stating they offered us 2 free drinks! We all drank cocktails and vodka, our bill was £380 but they thought charging us for two steaks that were over cooked and ruined was ok! Disgusting! We will not be returning! How can a steakhouse over cook steak! The young waitrose was excellent, pity the owners werent!!
