Went thurs night ordered steak the results was shocking ask for medium /well done came to table raw..sent it back. Came back still bloody asked for it to be done a bit longer....came back all shrivelled over cooked ..hadn't been away long enough to have gone back on grill ...100% sure it had been thrown in microwave....disgusting...l was with a crowd of friends and I'll never go back....infact a few of us won't be going back ...would not recommend it!!!!

Cheeky day off with the wife.We went to treat ourselves for lunch. Not really much impressive to report I'm afraid apart from styling of the restaurant.We ordered calamari and garlic mushroom starters. The garlic mushrooms didn't seem to have garlic in and the sauce was like soup. Our favourite starter of calamari was soggy and not displayed very well at all.I had steak for my main which was an extra 3 or 4 quid on top of my 2 course for £20.95 deal. It was a basic steak meal and nothing special.My wife had the mixed hanging kebab which was quite a let down. The meat was over cooked and the side salad just didn't finish off the dish enough.We spent £70 on lunch, on a Monday. We walked out disappointed unfortunately in the end.Overall, expensive (it's warrington, not Manchester, Liverpool or London). The food requires better attention.Disappointing unfortunately.

I took a family member out for her birthday to Ego last night & was disappointed. We waited 30 minutes for the food to arrive. And when it arrived my chips were hot but steak was cold. We were charged extra for the chips (not included in meal) , but I wasn’t told they would be an extra charge . And the soft drinks were over priced. I didn’t want to mention anything because it would have spoiled the evening. But for the food coming late and being cold, was not the service I paid for.

We went for evening meal. Lovely atmosphere with twickly lights. Pizza topping where good quality but pizza & coffee were luke warm, but OK. It was bit over priced for us however we enjoyed being out. On reflection we may one day go again.

I am really running out of things to say about Ego. We are regulars there and the food is always good. I had the cod yesterday, a mini rhubarb crumble and coffee. Delicious. It was fairly quiet for Sundsy but nice atmosphere. Very attentive waitress. Would recommend but definitely book.
