Shocking customer service after being told to move elsewhere by a waiter after sitting down and discussing on drink options.Explaining how we are taking up room when the business was busy when we was just reserving and discussing options before ordering. Wasn't happy with the attitude!!

Really good coffee, get the strong one, tastes good and you'll leave with a spring in your step.

I used this coffee house for 10 years before moving. The staff were always friendly and eventually my skinny banana latte was accepted as a 'thing' - along with a piece of granola or a bacon sandwich.. perfect for breakfast.. thanks Dave !

Great coffee shop with great service. Nice to have the sheltered outside tables and to know they're dog friendly. Also, they always provide a dog treat which is a nice touch

Always excellent service from Mark and the team. How they all remember so many people's drinks and names I have no idea!It can get quite busy, especially on weekends but there is seating outside too where dogs are welcome. You can also pop in to order with your dog so you don't have to leave them outside alone while you order which is a nice touch.Loads of parking available in the Forge carpark (free outside of 9am - 3pm Mon - Sat)Vegetarian options: A range of veggie and vegan options availableParking: Large council car park yards away.Mon - Sat fees apply 9am - 3pmWheelchair accessibility: Flat surface from car park to shop.Disabled bays in the car park

My friend and I arranged to meet for coffee. The coffee was ok, average coffee shop coffee, but the cake was really dissappointing. The cake itself was dry and there was insufficient buttercream in the middle and on the top. I don't know where you get your cake from but you need to change suppliers, it's terrible. May I suggest you try your own cake and rate it yourself. I have had better from Costco. When people call in for coffee and cake, the cake makes the experience and should be wow.

Been visiting this place for over 10 years. Staff super friendly, always give my sons lollipops and, in my opinion, the best filter coffee in North west, plus always the option of cream is offered.

Such a friendly place to stop for coffee. Staff know a lot of their regulars and welcome everyone with a smile. The staff will go out of their way to help customers, carrying drinks, getting sugar etc. Nothing is too much for them.Coffee is great and there is a good choice of food, excellent bacon (if you're early enough to catch it).Often full inside, they have a covered outside seating area and will always put the heaters on if needed; and a selection of daily papers for those who want to sit for a while and read.Happy to go back regularly.

As always, fantastic coffee and service, your not just paying for your coffee, your supporting a local independent shop, who really cares about there customers, hence why its always full of loyal customers unlike the global coffee shop Costa..Mark and his team are amazing, even when Graham is off for the day ?☕️

Often meet up here with friends or my sister for coffee and a toasted tea cake or cake, the cofee and the food is great, the service is excellent, nothing is too much trouble for the staff.
