Parking: Theres a car park opposite the restaurant, but its not for their sole use and it can get quite busy”

Kid-friendliness: Kids menu lots of choices”

“We have just been for a meal at San Lorenzo in Warrington , a group of five friends celebrating Christmas. The food was good apart from my pizza which was very bland. The evening was ruined by the fact there was no heat on. We enquired why it was so cold, the explanation was that the heating was broken but would be fixed tomorrow!!! I ate my meal with my coat and scarf on, never had to do that before. Maybe check if the heating is working before you book. Just thawing out at home. Ruined what should have been an enjoyable evening”

“This is a tricky one for me. We are fairly frequent visitors, and the kids love going to Ask Italian. The menu has a great selection of dishes that are, by and large, great, tasty, sensibly portioned, and arrive on hot plates. Their prawn starter is a particular favourite. However, on our last couple of visits, the pasta dishes appear to have been left of the pass rather too long and dried out quite badly, and the bread elements on the meals had all been badly charred on one side. Should we have mentioned it at the time, yes, probably. But enjoying our family meal was more important at the time. I have no doubt that the very polite and helpful staff would have put things right if given the opportunity. But those plates should have been rejected at the pass. Will we go again? Yes, of course. Should you give Ask Italian a try? Most definitely!”
