Excellent pizza as always, friendly staff. ok value. One tip: we stood at the door in a very quiet restaurant for about 2 minutes before the 3rd person to look at us actually came and greeted. Rule no1: capture the customer.

For of us (incl 2 kids) ate at Pizza express Stockton Heath as I had been given a voucher through my employers benefits scheme. With so many 'authentic' Italian restaurants in Warrington we wouldn't normally eat here but thought we would give it a try. We ordered starters and mains off the main menu and kids menu. We waited half an hour for the starters to arrive and a further 45 mins for our main courses. The kids were getting very tetchy at this point. We ordered deserts for the kids (chocolate brownies which were tiny) and they arrived before our dirty plates were cleared off the table. By the time the bill came the dirty plates were still on the table and hadn't been cleared. The place was just over half full, which included a teenagers birthday party. There were only three waiting staff (which included the manager who had returned to work early after an injured shoulder). Staff were friendly enough but service was painfully slow. Will not be returning.

We had a great time at this restaurant. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. Our kids enjoyed their meals as well. We especially recommend the BBQ Burns End Pizza, which had a crispy crust and smoky flavor, and the Carbonara Pasta, which was creamy and rich. This is a perfect place for a family dinner or a casual date night. We will definitely come back again.

Today we had a party here for our daughter. It was for 12 children and everything went great! Allergies, hygiene and safety were considered throughout the whole time here. Staff were very friendly, helpful and great , fun, hosts for the children.

Need to take Express out of the title! Main course took an hour and a quarter to arrive. Food was only average and quite pricey for what it was. Staff were pleasant but not at all efficient.. We were not advised that there would be any delay and no apology was forthcoming until we enquired about our food. Such a shame. We won’t be returning.

Very poor probably the worst pizza I've had eating out, so skimpy on cheese & toppings it was like eating a thin pizza base ,two young guys doing the cooking don't seem bothered so disappointing!!!

We decided to have lunch here on Tuesday as we have fallen in love with the Paneer Tikka Romana pizza. It is the nicest pizza we have ever had. I never order vegetarian anything but this combination of flavours and textures on a romana base is exceptional. The gentleman who served us gave us such outstanding service that it has prompted me to leave a review here to recognise him, his team and the Paneer Tikka pizza!! The only problem - we were informed that a new menu is coming in a couple of weeks and our favourite pizza - Paneer Tikka Romana has been dropped. What a shame!! Please reconsider!!

Having not been to Pizza Express in over five years, we thought we would give it a go. We came on a Monday evening around 5ish when the restaurant had around four other tables seated. Service was beyond poor- completely lacking attentiveness or friendliness from what I guess was management (individual in own clothing). I must add there was a young girl serving however who was very pleasant and is not to be included in this. Unfortunately, she was not our main server. Considering there were very few other people in the restaurant, the time it took for our food to arrive was incredibly slow and poor. The food itself was mediocre at best. Portions were incredibly small for their extortionate pricing and the majority of things we ate tasted as though they had been recently defrosted and heated up. I was blown away on receiving a £6.45 garlic bread smaller than the palm of my hand! My boyfriend ordered the £18.45 calabrese pizza with added chicken and received a pizza smothered in rocket, clearly hiding the lack of any substantial toppings. Despite costing near £20 the pizza tasted no better than a cheap supermarket frozen pizza. I recommend if you’re looking for tasty pizza, with good service, a great atmosphereand reasonable prices in Stockton Heath, steer clear of Pizza Express and head to Rudy’s across the road instead!

Some Pizza Express are terrible, this is the exception, staff were brilliant, menu offers gluten free options. Try the ricotta and date desert, it's awesome. Only thing is that many pizzas had smoked veg/meat. I can't eat smoked food due to allergy so my choice was limited a little.

Booked for 6pm to celebrate my grandsons 5th birthday. We waited 45 minutes for food. It was too late to order a desert as we had waited so long. The priority seemed to be on the delivery orders going out. This is in full view of paying customers. The waitress was very impolite bordering on rude.Shocking service. Would not recommend

Very slow food service. 45 minute wait for Pizza! The staff did not seems to know what was going on or how long we had been waiting for our food. The food was ok when it arrived. The manager was 'almost' rude and not at all engaging. Its not cheap and its certainly not cheerful!! Not a great experience and not one that I will be trying again.

I came from Germany and visited my friend in Warrington . We came as a big family group with friends . To be honest the food was really great and so far that was the best Pizza Express food I could get in my life . But unfortunately , the service was really bad and somehow I felt uncomfortable as a foreigner there . The server was very rude to us and I had the feeling that our table was not welcomed . I observed there were 2 Asian looking people working in the kitchen and that server was very crude to them . It created a very unpleasant feeling for me to be there . The kitchen is an open kitchen and of cause everybody saw the interactions amount the colleagues in the restaurant . I am sure that Warrington is a very diverse town and people are very friendly and open minded and I was shocked about the attitude of this server . I hope to see the improvement in this restaurant as I believe the world is no more a place for unfairness .

Brilliant service and delivery. Food was excellent and this handwritten note was the icing on the cake.
