Hardly changed since 'spoons days, slightly more expensive drinks but not all that much, food looked OK but we did not have any. Breakfast menu looked like a challenge to 'spoons with the £1.99 8-9 a.m. breakfast especially good.

Dirty tables. Ordered food, food delivered. No forks in tubs upstairs or downstairs, had to ask three times for forks, no butter, so between our food being delivered, and me getting back to the table with forks, dinner had cooled. Busy pub on matchday, very poor organisation. Give me The North Western in Liverpool any time

This pub, once owned by Wetherspoons but now independent, left me disappointed with its lack of improvement, especially when it comes to the food quality. Despite my hopes for a positive change, the food quality remained the same or perhaps even worse than before.During my visit, my party ordered a couple of pizzas. Unfortunately, one of the pizzas turned out to be excessively salty, making it difficult to enjoy. As for the other pizza, the tomato sauce seemed to be mixed with curry spices or some other unusual flavor, which was not to our liking.Overall, the experience at this pub was far from satisfactory. The lack of improvement in the food quality dampened the overall enjoyment of the visit. It's unfortunate when a change in ownership doesn't bring about the desired enhancements.

We called here for a drink and ended up staying for a few more and ordered some food. Very reasonably priced for food and drink, great selection of nice beers and cider as well as wine and really good food! Would call again! ?

Sunny day so sat outside for a while. The pub was very busy with lots of people ordering meals. Partner very happy as Plum Porter on. Dont know why they dont have this on more often as it seems to go very quickly.
Very busy, which is a good sign ,bar staff polite and helpful ,had chilli jacket potato with side salad n glass of wine .....shall go again next time in Warrington....?

Not a weatherspoons anymore. Pizza is quite bad. But the ale is very disappointing, tastes like vinegar and that was 3 different people with 3 different ales.
