First visit in quite a few years for me and my wife, we just don't go past anymore. Thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Will was the chap who served us who was very pleasant. Great pint. Dog friendly. We will definitely be going back here more often.

First time at this pub and what a welcome!!!We were served by Sharon and Roxy and they were so friendly and welcoming. Would defo go back and would defo recommend.The staff were amazing, the atmosphere was chilled and the food was excellent
Dirty table with a used napkin on the seat. Ordered Thai curry with prawns. It was essentially microwave rice and a heated up gloop but the most incredulous part was the prawns. Literally some frozen partially heated prawns plonked on top. My partner had the chicken version and that was the same. Just looked like chicken had been chucked on top. No presentation and no quality. For over £12 per meal I was disgusted. The price of beer is too high too. I love Chris behind the bar, he’s a great guy and has been there years but the standard overall has dropped too low for me to returnJust pray I don’t get food poisoning

I don’t often leave reviews unless I’ve had a poor experience but I felt the need to leave this review as the service and food was excellent. Nothing seemed too much trouble, staff very polite and friendly and food lovely. The staff alone made me feel very welcome and I look forward to my next visit!
Had a fantastic meal at the Trigger Pond, I was served by Roxy, Sharon and another young man who were all lovely and extremely helpful. The food was fantastic and well presented and it was very clearly a well taken care establishment with a fair few customers. Great place. Would recommend.

There were 9 of us, we had different meals and starters and all of us were extremely happy with everything.It was also lovely that the gluten free menu was an actual menu with choices not just take it or leave it.All of the staff on duty were polite, helpful attentive.
