We visited last night, for the first time, with two other couples. The décor in the restaurant is simple and unpretentious, and we were warmly welcomed. So often you find you leave a restaurant with a feeling of disappointment at some aspect of the food or service... but not last night. Went for dinner as a group of 6. This is our 4th visit, including with children in the past. Food is always outstanding, staff are friendly and efficient, the atmosphere is informal and relaxed. I've lived in Wilmslow for 7 years and this is definitely my favourite restaurant in Wilmslow or Alderley Edge.
Went for dinner yesterday evening with friends. Food was absolutely delicious but there was quite a long wait for our starters and an even longer wait for our main course.Service was a bit hit and miss - there was a young lady who looked after us initially and she was very welcoming and very professional.
