Good tasty food. I had the Chicken Wings and Chicken Teriyaki very well cooked really enjoyed it. Service was excellent. I would definitely recommend going.

Really disappointed with the customer service. Ordered through the Deliveroo app, the driver arrived and our ramen had spilt. Not our fault. Rang the restaurant whose advice was to order again and try for a refund… they couldn’t make more to send out as a restaurant?!

Ate in and the food tasted deliciousWhat have me an off taste was the poor customer service , the rudeness and grumpiness of the staff. The depression and utter ego could ridden an epidemic, I felt myself becoming as miserable as them.With all their little whispering and looking but do not maintain eye contact nor niceties when interacting with myself as a customer.It’s a shame because this would be leaning towards more of a 5 star if the service was better and the pumpkin katsu portion was more in accordance to it’s price.Vegetarian options: Lovely vegan stuff

Ate here again last night, some of the best Sushi in Wilmslow. Highly recommend. The Beef Taco was also really good! Props to the chef Devin for always looking after us.

Unbelievable food made to order. So tasty and fresh. I have been twice now and both times have been spot on, service consistently great. My only negative is the location of the customer toilet being through the kitchen, but that’s not enough to put me off due to everything else being fab.

Incredible meal at Unagi in Wilmslow. The food was spectacular and everyone was so welcoming. A special mention to Channell and Francesca who looked after us, they're a real credit to the Unagi team.

This is our new favourite restaurant. We were so impressed with the quality of the food! The katsu chicken curry was amazing. The staff were so friendly and polite and we won a Pen! :) The unlimited menu offers a great selection of dishes and each one was prepared fresh! We can’t wait to come back!

Edward our waiter was lovely, had amazing food and great service . Will definitely be coming back again. Definitely try out the spicy tuna rolls if dining.

We had great expectations as the waitress who greeted us spent a bit of time going through our menu options. That’s when things went downhill. It was a good 15 minutes before somebody came to take our order - after two of us approached staff on two separate occasions for service. Our bottle of water had arrived after a good 10 mins after prompting but there were no glasses?! Alarm bells should have set in then. There was only one other table that had already finished their food so it was not busy. Unfortunately after waiting an hour, we discovered our order hadn’t even been passed to the kitchen. The waiter went to check when prompted and we waited 5 more minutes before I suggested to the waitress that we would cancel if the order hadn’t been processed. The waitress then lied and said ‘it was coming’ yet I could hear her asking ‘who’s in charge of hot food?’ within ear shot! We’d lost all confidence by then so we left anyway. Luckily we did! Turned out the order hadn’t been received at all after over an hour’s wait. This has got to be the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever experienced in my life - the place is run by inexperienced staff who have no idea about checking in on customers. However trying to fob us off when clearly our order had been missed is a no-no for me. Don’t bother and go somewhere else. We did and had the best Thai good ever at chilli banana in Macclesfield!

The staff were really welcoming and friendly, especially Holly our waitress couldn’t fault her. Unfortunately the food for us let it down. It was not that the food wasn’t cooked well, we just did not enjoy the mains we ordered as they weren’t to our taste. The sushi was lovely - recommend the wilmslow roll. This would be a place to go if you do enjoy sushi but the other dishes were not great for us. Lovely atmosphere and we still enjoyed our evening ?

Here with husband for our wedding anniversary same day as previous review, we actually watched them bring a chocolate cake to the table lol Staff were slack as hell for everyone else apart from them. Making mistakes often, table next to us even got the wrong receipt, thankfully they were honest and did pay for their bill properly after catching the error. We decided on a sushi platter first then to get more food if we were still hungry, we were, ordered more and they completely forgot us, no drink top up either. Two hours. Asked where our food was, guy said he would check on it and then didn't come back lmao I canceled the food and we just paid and dipped. Note this was 45 mins AFTER birthday table had left so no real excuses. Apart from the birthday table there was only three other tables, so it wasn't overly busy at all. The food we did get was great, so not a fault on the chefs. Staff need to just step up, very young, inexperienced I guess. Great shoes tho on our server, Balenciaga ~ oh lala Wont be back
