Very traditional country, cornish pub. Beer was beautiful ?

I was upset when I had finished my food it was honestly so good. We both had roasts and enjoyed it immensely. Had a really lovely waitress who helped me with their huge gin selection.Just overall 10/10 really glad we came here and found this gem :)

Kudos to the chefs here! Delicious, beautifully balanced dishes prepared with care and attention. A nice surprise for the last night of our holidays, especially as we'd been disappointed by some very average food at other highly rated restaurants in the area. Service was friendly and prompt. We'll be back. :)

It seems as though the Inn is under new ownership, as of mid December 2023? We dined there a few days ago - rump steak and burger delicious, superb chips (never had better!). Loved the mussels - a bit hesitant about the masala source, but it worked! Friendly, welcoming service. Best to book, and Tuesdays can be very busy. We'll be back...

We’ve been coming the the Napoleon for years whenever we visit Boscastle. My wife and I were staying around the corner for Christmas this year and popped into the Nap a couple of times during our visit. I heard that it recently changed hands but I have to say, the food was incredible (as always) and the atmosphere was just as warm and welcoming as before. Seriously , did I say the food was incredible ! Sunday roast was amazing and the second night I had a stake. Damn , those chips were good. I can’t wait to return.

The Nap is now under new management and I was worried that meant the standards might slip. I am pleased to report that the food is still excellent! The same menu as before, which is great! My wife is also coeliac and they were fantastic at catering for her. They have gluten free versions of almost everything on the menu. The burger was sensational. Others had fish and chips and were also very pleased. The new land lady was very welcoming and looked after us well. Highly recommend. One of North Cornwall’s hidden gems.

Lovely country pub, quirky layout with a very modern contemporary menu. The lady working this evening was very knowledgeable about the menu, and following her advice, I had a really lovely aubergine dish.Well worth a visit.
Great pub serving tasty meals. Really impressed with the gluten free approach to cooking: Best gluten free fish and chips ever.A local band was jamming in the back room which really added to the atmosphere. Great evening had by all. We will definitely be back. It is a shame the Napoleon is a tied pub - if it served the local Crackington Cider it would be absolutely perfect!!!Vegetarian options: Great selection of vegetarian options. The tempura miso cauliflower was delicious

We were made very welcome as we slopped in after walking in a rainstorm. Food was excellent in a lovely old pub.

We had dinner at The Nap last evening. The food was amazing. Really well cooked, good range of choice, brilliantly presented. We had their fish and chips and pork belly dishes. Best we have eaten so locally. Both dishes were beautifully cooked and tasted fabulous. Staff are very friendly, professional and helpful. Will definitely be returning soon and would definitely recommend.

Quirky pub very nice staff l must admit was disappointed with the meal my pork belly was very soggy and the fat not cooked off it was quite unpleasant not a crispy bit of crackling in sight l was asked if my meal was okay and l never say anything not wanting to ruin the night the chef would have known it wasn’t very good l would hope but still sent it out anyway

From Paul and Sam (hiking the SWCP) A very welcoming atmosphere on a stormy night, lovely staff, fabulous food and even sea shanties from the Boscastle Buoys - what more could you ask?
