Lovely fish n chips served with a chat and a smile on a very wet and windy evening! Good price too!

Do not go here for fish and chips we had cod and chips one was asked for to be lightly battered but the batter was all soggy disgusting chips were warm ups to sit outside service shocking complained but were not interested not cheap either and small measly portions won’t be visiting again

Read the reviews so was abit dubious about going here and I should have listened to them as the chips were awful; crunchy, hard to chew and so salty. Fish was ok though.Plus I saw a local carrying fish n chips from some where else as I got back in my car. So says it all really!

They forgot the mushy peas and tartar sauce. The fish was tough and took an average of 7 minutes to chew each mouthful. The girl serving was very nice though. Steer clear of this 'plaice' if you want nice food. Camelford fish and chip shop is so much better.

Ordered to take away, so can't guarantee the atmosphere, etc. But the location is ideal, and the little beer garden vibe to eat in, and in the licensed bar is lovely touch. But onto food... the fish was wet and flavourless, with sloppy batter. (Girlfriend had haddock, and I had the cod, both were wanting)Chips were alright but only alright (coming from The Black Country, battered chips take some beating).Would go back, but avoiding fish and having a pie or burger instead.Parking: Parking is in the Boscastle Car Park just up and over the road behind Nisa.

Advertised as the best fish and chips in the area. If this is true then I wouldn't bother eating any fish and chips in the area as this is easily the worst I've had in my lifetime. Scampi overcooked, chips were just crusty lumps of fat and the mushy peas came out as one solid lump. It is also very obvious they don't clean their fryers. Truly horrible food, avoid like the plague.

Great fresh fish and chips . Eating delicious food alfresco in the sunshine . Perfect. Shame that the bar was closed but this did not defer from the food .

This fish and chip shop has outside seating where you can sit and eat your food but also have a drink, they can produce gluten free fish in about 10 minutes which was absolutely lovely - highly recommended for coeliacs

It's always good to visit somewhere with a good gluten free offering. The chips were some if the best I've had and the curry sauce might just be the best - a great way to finish an explore of the town

Superb little chippy. The chips were crispy and probably some of the best I've had. Fish was nice, batter a little oily, but was still very good. Fish inside beautiful. Really good curry suace, propernjce and spicy not that wishy washy stuff you get in bog standad chippy. Will definitely be back for more! Beer garden to the side which is perfect if the sun's out!

Phoned at 7:15pm to ask are they still doing pizzas and can we order over the phone, yes was the answer and up to 8pm. Tried to call back which took 15mins to then be told oh no we are not doing pizza, we said ummm your just told us you were??? Then the phone went silent while clearly they were discussing, then a lady called Julie came on the phone to tell us you can’t of called here as we haven’t don’t pizzas all summer, we said no we just called 15mins ago, she says absolutely not you must be wrong. Just admit it was a mistake on your staffs behalf not when we have the phone call to prove it, not the greatest customer service and quite sassy and no apology.

We love the fish and chips here - super fresh and delicious, friendly staff and a nice bar with outside seating. The best place to finish a walk! However - the mini plastic sauces are expensive and environmentally so unfriendly. Also plastic containers for mushy peas etc. More could be done - when right by the sea it’s such a shame to see that.

Fabulous food. Staff are lovely and polite. Even when they are massively busy we didn't have to wait long. Everything's fresh cooked. Came here Aug 2022. Been here 3 times this holiday...2 for takeaway and once to eat in the garden.

Lovely food great staff and the option of the veggie burger was great. It came with tomato relish rather than mayo as well meaning it could be a vegan option which was fantastic for a fish n chip shop. Would recommend every time.

A nice, quiet little spot to while away a sunny afternoon with a few pints after a walk down to the harbour.
