As locals the Wellington has always been our first choice for Sunday Lunch as good value & excellent food. I have now been informed by bar staff that the Sunday menu has changed and instead of £15 for main & dessert it is now £20 for main & £8 for dessert. Such a huge price increase so unfortunately won't be returning.

Booked a place new years eve for 4 adults, was shown upto the table, very friendly staff, even let me go rescue our dog from the car and bring her into restauraunt as their was fireworks going on outside. Food was lovely and presented well. Overall a good experiance.

We had a really lovely lunch here. The food was really nice but the thing that really stood out was the atmosphere. Such lovely friendly welcoming staff, and really doggie friendly too.

Really good food and good menu options inc enough nice options for vegetarians. Better than usual pub fare. Great staff. Friendly, cosy. A great spot to eat in the heart of beautiful Boscastle.

Fantastic meal and locally sourced. Friendly staff and beautiful hotel with lots atmosphere. I had the haddock and chips and my husband had the Aberdeen Angus beef burger and chips. Both were thoroughly delicious. Great selection of wine and beer too.

Great food & good service. Went on Saturday night for a family dinner to celebrate a 40th birthday. We had a variety of the dishes on offer & all the dishes were excellent. Would definitely go again when visiting Boscastle.

First time calling in at the Wellington Hotel, after spotting it on previous walking tours of Boscastle. Lovely warm welcome in the Long Bar, for us and our lab Ruby. Lovely to see that the Welly is clearly a popular venue even in these quieter months, as there was a fair amount of foot traffic calling in during our lunch visit. We enjoyed the soup of the day, sandwiches, and the husband gave the fish and chips a rave review. Nice pint of tribute topped it all off. Lovely decor, warm environment and staff, and super dog friendly. Can't ask for anything more, strongly recommend for lunch!

Really lovely staff. It was cold when we arrived, so I asked for the heating to be turned up, which was done straightaway, and despite it being an old building, the heating improved quickly. The atmosphere in the restaurant was good - most tables taken, which was nice to see. My two friends really loved their meals. Mine, not so much - my chips, which came in one of those metal baskets, were a bit cold and stuck together. I should have pointed it out to the staff, but didn't, so my fault for not telling them.
