Sensational lunch. Incredible menu of tasty dishes created and served by friendly and welcoming staff. Very special meal. Recommend the chickpeas and the bread & tapenade.

Incredible food in a beautiful setting. We sat outside and had lunch - a selection of small sharing dishes, as is the way of the restaurant. Most of our dishes were simple by design (e.g. bread charred on a grill, oysters, little dressed sweetcorn cobs, hake in thai curry sauce), but the devil is in the detail and everything tasted exceptional. The Rocket Store is pricey, yes (£100 for two without alcohol), but if you push the boat out on one meal whilst holidaying then it has to be this place.Vegetarian options: A couple of veggie snacks available, along side 4-5 veggie small plates and a couple of sides.

Ate here 3 nights of 7 and the food is delicious its seafood tapas style, you can get lamb if you want but the fish is too good, monkfish was amazing, seabass sashimi delicious, as were the hand dived scallops cooked in chicken fat, we literally had the whole menu over the 3 visit’s, hard to choose a favourite. Not cheap but wonderful

Great food, friendly staff. Innovative menu, a little pricier than other local competitors but food has wow factor for sure. Delish, highly recommend.

Absolutely superb. Fantastic freshly prepared tapas style seafood which is great for sharing. Genuinely one of the best meals in Cornwall we’ve ever had.

After seeing 'The Rockt Store' on TV we just had to visit while we were on holiday in Cornwall and boy were we pleased we did. We had the Chef's Choice - a selection of small plates across the whole menu. How the team (Ryan & James) achieve what they do in such a small kitchen is mindblowing, the food is outstanding, the service brilliant and this shed should be awarded a Michelin Star. Ryan's diary alternatives were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble.

I'm not sure why I've not reviewed it before, as I've been here 50+ times, but the Rocket Store is our favourite restaurant in a 100-mile radius. The food and cocktails are always fresh, adventurous, delicious, and very reasonably priced. The service is always super friendly, and we have a memorable evening every visit. Cannot recommend enough

This is a fantastic little gem in the beautiful and very friendly Boscastle. Definitely worth a visit. Really friendly staff. Great rustic vibe. Super fresh seafood. And possibly the best Panna Cotta I've ever eaten.

If you want to tick off a celebrity chef try Padstow but if you want to experience a rising star of the culinary world visit The Rocket Store. Fresh local produce cooked well, expect to pay a little more but great value. We visited twice in a seven day holiday and were not disappointed on either occasion. Oysters were excellent !

What the… Was our thoughts as we sat down to have the menu explained to us. Looking at it outside we thought “oooh, sounds like nice seafood” and at upwards of £27 per plate we thought we might get decent portion! However… once we’d been given our drinks, we were told that these were in fact “small plates” - looking at the surrounding diners, small is not the word. Microscopic! Minuscule! Invisible to the naked eye is more the vibe. They have the nerve to charge £8… PER scallop. That’s right folks, ONE single, lonely scallop. With no sides. Just a scallop. You’re not alone if you’re thinking “wtf”. Now it might just be our midlands/Yorkshire sensibilities but we weren’t about to be paying through the nose for that. We’re both reasonably high earning professionals so it’s not that the money was an issue per se, but if I’m paying that much I’d expect a portion size larger than that intended for a hamster post-gastric surgery. When we said we were just going to have drinks instead, the waitress’ mask slipped and she crossly said “oh I wish I’d known, we are only licensed to serve drinks with food”. We’d only had an elderflower pop and a coke - no alcohol in sight! Anyway, that’s how we ended up being talked into having a £4 plate of bread. Which, while it was nice enough, worked at £1 per tiny slice. It was tasty though, and to give her her due, our waitress was very nice to us while we were there. We could just tell that they were very eager for us to leave Honestly, if you do want to eat here, you probably have more money than you do sense. However, we noticed that they didn’t charge us for the bread. Whether that was a nice gesture or an oversight we don’t know, but we weren’t about to question it!
