I am visiting Cornwall St Austell for the weekend to see friends. I was having my morning breakfast, and it was lovely ?I have to say that Gillian was so welcoming and looked after me so well.Thank you so much, Gillian. I will be returning very very soon and will recommend it to friends and family. Also, I would like to add that I was eating my breakfast and heard a gentleman saying his breakfast was cold and the egg wasn't nice. I think the way he spoke to Gillian wasn't nice at all, and they was no need to speak like this about his breakfast. Gillian dealt with the matter well and professionally. If I would work for the company, I would be so happy that Gillian works for me.Well done, and thank you for my breakfast and service this morning.Rooms: Great double room ? comfy bed and lovely bath ?Nearby activities: Boots, Marks and Spencer, T-maxxWalkability: YesFood & drinks: Had breakfast and dinner was lovely ?

Standard prem. Good location and easy to find. Next to a retail park. Only problem for me was that my room faced the retail units and so HGV driver with a refrigerated trailer parked almost outside the window so all I had was the fridge starting and stopping all night. Even with the window shut it was hard to stay asleep. Breakfast was good though. If I go again will ask for a room away from the road.

Clean room, lovely stay for us as a family. Great facilities. Convenient to be right near the a30. Especially for a stop between traveling with a little one. Would highly recommend.

In a good location, it does not take long to drive to a town. The staff were friendly and on hand for any problems. We booked two rooms, one for my parents and one for myself. My parents room had very squeeky floors, and some finishing touches needed to be done in their bathroom. My room, on the other hand, had many little faults such as ripped carpet, plug not attached the bath, very scratched light switchs which I could deal with. The one thing I could not deal with was that the bedding was dirty and had a rip. I went down to reception, and the guy was lovely and apoplectic. He came up to the room and put clean bedding on as housekeeping had finished for the day. I was very pleased at how quickly it was rectified and it wasn't too much trouble. (Think the guys name was Craig) I also got a puncure on the way and he recommended a garage which had a good reputation which didn't cost too much which I was also grateful for. Overall, we had a lovely weekend and would return back despite the little issues. If it wasnt for the bedding and ripped carpet I would have gave four ☆☆☆☆Nearby activities: Right next to a retail park with 4 shop, mcdonalds and restaurantFood & drinks: Food at the pub next door was lovely. I could not fault it at all. Was served quickly and did not have to wait long for the food to arrive, which was good as we hadn't eaten since breakfast due to the journey

The room was 30.5 degrees, and there was no air conditioning. Complained but told that the company head office was aware but would not do anything about it. I was offered a refund but had to apply through customer services. Will not use Premier Inn again. I had a very uncomfortable sleep .

Really disappointed. Curtains with holes in and hanging off the rail, dusty shelving, and very very creaking floors not only in our room but the one above. So obviously if the person above is an early riser that's the end of your nights sleep. We've used this place for years but I'm afraid it is now very sad.

Since my son moved to Cornwall over 30 years ago we have used this hotel on numerous occasions and have always been very pleased. However this time it has been about 3 years since we came, and I'm sad to say we were very disappointed. Firstly the curtains had holes in them and were hanging off the rail. The shelves were dusty on the unit. But my biggest issue was the creaking flooring, not just in our room but also the one above. So obviously if the person above is an early riser, which on this occasion was the case (5 am) put an end to your nights sleep.

Arrived and receptionist couldn't find our booking as she had booked in someone else under our name previously!!!!! Ages sorting out not what you need after very long journey! Also someone complaining about smell in room and asking to be moved! Tried to book meal deal and told restaurant booked so couldnt book it! When we checked with restaurant ourselves they managed to fit us in so all good. The hotel is a little tired, although clean and no air conditioning. Staying on the hottest night of year it wasnt good. Windows only open a fraction so no airflow at all. There is a musty smell in the whole hotel. When we came out in morning to fresh air it was wonderful.Rooms: the whole place had a nasty musty smell to it.
