Staff are either power-crazed, incompetent or both. Don’t waste your time on this over-priced tourist tat trap

Smashing spot. Immediately welcomed when I arrived. The two guys were so friendly and chatty. Coffee was great quality and the cakes were so tasty. Toilets were spotless. Would definitely return.

Beautiful panoramic views of St Michael’s Mount & perfect for a warm day. Food & service - awful. Very loud music. Very disappointed and won’t be eating there again.

Pretty terrible food with small portions and expensive for what it is, I would not recommend eating here and regretted eating here.

The view from the terrace is beautiful but in future the only thing we will order is coffee and/ or a good beer. I was appalled when I saw what we were paying for when the food arrived! A burger for £18 should have a bit more than a thin burger and a bit of salad and sad looking potatoes. The crab on toast was paltry for £15! It certainly was not value for money at all. To even think that it’s acceptable to charge greedy prices because of the setting is ludicrous. I’m afraid, we won’t be eating here again. Perhaps the Godolphin Hotel should take note that they will lose business from ordinary people who are watching their pennies - or maybe they don’t care.

It is a pleasant venue in an excellent location. We called in for lunch. Staff were friendly and helpful. Vintage rock music was apt but loud for mid-day. Some of the cutlery and crockery were dirty. The crab melt paninis were okay but containing little crab so not worth £16. We'll not visit again...

I never normally take the time to review but can honestly say this was the worst meal I have ever been served. Ordered prawn and hake burger and normal burger plus two drinks, cost £42.00. Both lots of food arrived cold, including the prawns, doesn’t fill you with confidence sent them back arrived ten minutes later a little warmer but far from hot, not enjoyable at all and certainly not worth the money, tiny burger and tiny side dish of one side. Will not be returning

It was a spontaneous visit. The staff were fittingly crabby. The food order was slow to arrive and unappetising. The paper on which it was served had disintegrated into a pulpy mess. The steak was terrible; gristle, cold side of lukewarm, and a nasty taste of paprika and liquid smoke badly masked its origin. Menu said it was BBQ but I highly doubt it had seen a lick of flame. The corn on the cob was a soggy shameful frozen item considering local fields are burgeoning with corn this week. The nachos were supermarket cheap and nasty, with liquid cheese and a few dollops of avocado sin lime and sour cream. Pickled red cabbage replaced the more traditional salsa. At £58 it was punching above its weight. Not sure why the Godolphin, which does excellent food, wants it's name on Craby's? Great views from the terrace though.

Great location but the food was somewhat lacking. It tries to be fancy when the crowd want fish n chips type food whilst soaking up the atmos. I really feel they’re missing a trick here!

Visited here with my disabled father and new born baby. We entered the Goldolphin first. The disabled lift was broken and staff watched as we struggled to get everyone up the stairs before telling us that the food was being served at the beach bar. We then had to struggle again. The staff and establishment are not disabled friendly. The food is very expensive and as others have mentioned the burgers don’t even come with fries. I went to the Goldophin a few years ago and it was excellent, I must say that it has declined. I would not recommend and will never visit again.

It was a bit confusing to start with, you have to go inside, order and pay at the bar with your table number, but they were very pleasant. The food was amazing (easily the best we had in three days in Cornwall). We had very good thick smoked salmon on sour dough bread with capers, mackerel pâté, and sardines on buttered toast. We could not get over how good it was. Not only that, but we asked where they got the capers from, and they bothered to find out for us.We had to phone them later about something, and they were very helpful and rang back when they said they would, so props for that too.Views of St Michael's Mount in the mist, 10/10.Parking: It´s a short walk from the town.

We had a very nice refreshing break after the visit to St Michel Mount enjoining the rising of the tide in the afternoon. Friendly staff, great view and lovely background music. Highly raccommanded! If you go to visit St Michael's Mount it deserves a stop!
