Very poor menu choice. Staff were very reluctant to seat us as a family with two children we were almost made to feel like we weren’t welcome. Views are stunning.I wouldn’t return mainly because we felt so uncomfortableKid-friendliness: NOT CHILD WELCOMING

Lovely views and setting. However for £22 I’d expect more than one slice of roast beef on a Sunday Roast. They had run out of cauliflower cheese and told we would have more of the other sides which didn’t appear so. The roast that we did have was very tasty but you can’t serve a roast with one slice. Very friendly servers however took a while to get served and food came before drinks and water bottle had soap left in it so was foaming.

We only went in here to use the toilets but ended up having a sharing roast and coffees watching the sunset. This venue is outstanding. Beautiful decor, great vibes, attentive polite staff, stunning views and good food.I would say the food is slightly pricey but portions were generous.

We had a tasty dinner here to celebrate our engagement. The food was delicious and cleary freshly made? The staff made a special effort with some special touches to the food and drink, and we're attentive and clear with the menu options/prices. (i.e, daily fresh meat is priced separately)This hotel/bar is now a top contender for our wedding venue ?

Great place to come while waiting for the tide to recede. Great views from this place. The service was very prompt, efficient and friendly. The fish and chips is highly recommended as was the soup of the day.

Very Disappointed!!! Waited nearly two hours for a main meal, the quality of food was poor , the steak was really bad. This was some kind of joke :(

Eaten here before and the food is generally mediocre at best. If you want to charge a premium price you need to be able to justify it…Service could also be better as well. The two younger team members were great, however the older two team members could have been more attentive; as it was they were more keen to talk among themselves than engage with customers. It’s never nice to leave a negative review, however this place has so much potential and we hope you can take this feedback constructively.

AWFUL. Served main course without the potato puree described. When asked where it was, we were then advised that they didn't have any, they would take it away and return with potatoes. What we got was a tiny smear of beetroot puree!! Needless to say, we left.

Consistently good food I thought until the last time I visited with family. The lobster with pasta sounded like a good idea but didn't work. Hardly any lobster with a mountain of greasy macaroni lacking flavour and seasoning topped with a single fried prawn identical to those of starter course. Starter course **** Desert *****

The roast was average. Small leg of chicken, 3 tiny roast potatoes, mange tout, carrots and gravy.and Yorkshire pudding for £20.00.It was good but we've had much better for less. The waitress was bordering on rude however the other staff we're lovely. Wouldn't eat there again. Beautiful setting though. Not

Went here for my partners big birthday on 7/1/24. Booked online and requested a window seat if possible. Arrived to be seated in a perfect position to take in the amazing view. Waiting staff very friendly and initial drinks came quickly, as did the food. Second round of drinks were slow to arrive and we had to ask a couple of times if they were coming or had been forgotten. This was a minor thing though as the food was amazing!! We had the sharing platter roast which contained beef, pork and chicken along with all the veg, stuffing and crackling and lashings of gravy. So much food… in hindsight we didn’t need a starter and we even brought the chicken home with us. Given them 5/5 in this review as they deserve it base on food, location & friendliness alone. They rectified the drinks issue which was good of them. It was a busy Sunday lunch for them after all. Will definitely be returning.

I walked in for a light lunch on New Years Day hoping for a table and I was in luck. They fitted me in and I had a sea view! I was delighted. The staff were excellent, Emily served me and was wonderful. The Cornish seafood chowder was exquisite! The perfect spot to enjoy a relaxed New Years Day lunch.

A fish based restaurant, and a selection of fine dining dishes. Wonderful view of St Micheal’sMount & dog friendly. Advise booking in advance as known to just throughout the year.

Nice enough restaurant, service a bit brusque, asked what we would like to drink before even seeing the menu. Lobster risotto was tasty, though lobster was tough ( overcooked) Cod was ok, truffle chips good. Bottle of local Sauvignon good . Affogato to finish Smallish portions, pricey for what it is. Meal for 2, no starters, wine and 1 dessert ( £100)
