Called to book a table and cut the phone to my face two times!!! Bizarre!!! They didn't even let me say why I am calling!

Dinner for 5. It was very quiet, but the bar staff were very friendly. Food was great.

A lovely fire and warm welcome. Good food. We couldn't fault any of it.

We came here as we were dropping our daughter at Newquay Airport. A lovely pub, 5 minutes from the airport, with car parking! On arrival the pub was really busy and we were told that our table was the only free one in the restaurant - despite not having a map we managed to find this all by ourselves and were served within a few minutes! We decided to try our luck with the Coke (plain, Diet and Zero) - none of which were flat although we were fully prepared to write a scathing review and try to get a refund :( !The food was excellent, although I have to admit it took at least 15 minutes to arrive - I put this down to the fact that it was all freshly cooked and there were 20 or so people eating so, if you’d rather have a microwaved meal, I wouldn’t recommend this pub!Food & drinks: Excellent

This is my second visit in over 25 years. Absolutely marvellous. I went to St Mawgan in Pydar Catholic Church, then to the Falcon Inn. Thanks for a lovely time.

Grrat secluded pub. Nice people and good well kept beet cellar. Friendly customers and good outdoor seating too. We will rrturn.

Had fish and chips twice and just as nice. Proper.

Perhaps one of the best burgers I’ve ever tasted, only to be followed by apple pie with clotted cream.Exceptional food and service thank you.

I was lucky enough to find a pub after driving up and down narrow Cornish lanes for 15 minutes. I found my seat and ordered some drinks. I ordered a coke and packet of crisps. Not only did it take them around 10 mins to deliver the order to my table, my coke was flat and the crisps tasted stale. 1 star review all round. P.S.the location gives it an extra star for being a little less quiet than the big towns.

Went here as part of an away weekend from our home in Devon. The staff were most welcoming and organised and the "locals" were friendly too. We had pre-booked a table prior to our visit and weren't disappointed with the food or service. What we hd was exceptionally well cooked and presented and was a joy to eat. I wouldn't hesitate to return !

We had a great meal here, a place we've visited before it can be busy sometimes of the year, so book early, go early as parking can be premium when it comes to finding a space it is in quaint old village with narrow roads so be warned.Food & drinks: Many a local special beer to be had...Not just Proper job or Doom Bar!

What a gem, we love this place to relax and have a lovely meal or just a nice pint of beer. They do the best guiness too. Definitely well worth a visit even if it’s to sit in there pretty garden. Always with a friendly atmosphere from the staff.
