Excellent. We stopped for a bacon butty and hot drink, lovely staff, well worth a visit. Pretty room with stone flag floor, old cooking range which looks amazing in the room.

We had a lovely 2 night stay at the cottage / tea room. Friendly staff and beautiful oldy worldy cottage - Lovely exposed beams and vintage fireplaces. The English breakfast was delicious and the smoked salmon too. Great place to stay and friendly atmosphere.

We visited as a party of 6 for breakfast and it was the perfect end to our holiday in Dentdale. All the food was delicious! I’d definitely recommend the bacon butty, and the omelette, breakfast items on sourdough and marmalade on toast also went down a treat. Lovely friendly family owners. Our takeaway cake was delicious later on, especially the fruit cake. This tea room is licensed, serves hot and cold lunches as well as breakfast and has accommodation. I’m only sorry we waited till the end of our week away to visit. We will be back when we return to Dentdale.

Wonderful family run tea room and restaurant. Excellent attention to detail. Beautiful china. Historic 17th century interior. Very good food. Loose leaf tea is excellent. Very good value. Friendly owners. A very special place.

The world needs tea rooms like this!Excellent, inventive fresh food served in style in historic surroundings. What a beautiful, special tea room! The friendly owner explained the impressive history of this 17th century building to us. Fine loose leaf tea served in exquisite china and delicious range of cakes. Also very nice lunches. Very good value. The family running this tea room clearly take a pride in their offering. Everything is done with taste, style and care. Wonderful!

Best breakfast we’ve had in a long time. This quaint and cosy little cafe is a delight . Good food, good service, clean and pretty .

Full english just what I needed after climbing blencathra the previous day. Place was very quiet which I am not complaining about but this is telling of the dire economic situation the country finds itself in.

Just love this B&B in Dent! Stayed here twice now when cycling with friends this summer and it’s very quaint and hospitable and the food is great. Cycling route 68 into Dentdale from Ingleton is a treat too.

Have to say this was one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. Wonderful little spot.

When we visited we were the only customers and we had soup and sandwiches. There was a very limited choice of hot food. However, given the inclement weather it was very welcome. Later, more customers arrived. You were able to take out some pieces of home made cake, excellent fruit cake.

I cannot comment on the accommodation or full meals but for drinks and cake this tea room is exceptional. Lovely traditional setting, very friendly and helpful staff, superb cake, great coffee and fantastic value. Would definitely return!

Wonderful Tea Room in a stunning location. Fuelled up with freshly baked scones and chocolate and orange cake, we didn’t get back in time from our walk to have lunch which is shame but one for us to return to sample, including the breakfast menu that looked fab.
