The food was absolutely lovely and so where the staff! I'm already looking forward to going back. There is a really nice atmosphere, and the issue we had was struggling to choose what to order.

Visited recently to celebrate my sister and brother in law's Pearl Wedding Anniversary Have been before, and as the last visit, everything was excellent in every aspect All the staff are friendly, helpful, and happy to serve you Everyone's food in a party of 10 really was spot on,plenty of variety on the menu The food is of a good standard and presented very nicely Love the ambience at this hotel and the lounge area. It is great to meet for pre dinner drinks or after your meal for coffee or a nightcap We all enjoyed the evening very much and it made our family celebrations perfect Thank you to all the staff for looking after us all so well,we all appreciated your hard work We will certainly visit again,until the next time

I definitely suggest this restaurant for all people in the lake district it has delicious gluten-free and vegetarian 6 the service was lovely and they assisted you when you needed.

Came here for Valentine's Day and wasn't disappointed. Very welcoming staff who were also efficient and friendly. While you don't come here expecting cheap food and drink, I felt the prices for quality were very reasonable. The hotel itself is very lovely and far enough away from the main road for traffic to not be a distraction.The Cocktails were perfect as was all the food. The portions were just on the right side of being haute cuisine (which isn't filling!) and so, after three courses, we were nicely full - just!Price for two, with lots of drinks and three courses (starter and pudding shared) came to £94.
