Absolute game changer!! these electric bikes were fantastic, made the family bike ride much more equal \\u0026 able to ride longer distances. Myself \\u0026 sister pre-ordered 2 x medium electric bikes but upon speaking with the shop \\u0026 giving them our height they advised on ‘small’ bikes, which were perfect. We are both 5’4. The teenagers enjoyed trying them out too. We had 1 red electric \\u0026 1 black electric bike which were different to ride, the red felt more solid. I know i’ll be saving up to buy an electric bike after trying them out. The service, helpful advice \\u0026 quality of bikes was excellent, would highly recommend.\\nWe cycling from Hawkshead to the ferry, over to the Jetty Museum for coffee \\u0026 cakes \\u0026 a paddle in Lake Windermere. Myself \\u0026 sister \\u0026 kids went back on ferry \\u0026 along shoreline to Wray Castle, then back to Hawkshead. About 4 hours including stops \\u0026 Ferry. The others left the Jetty Museum/Cafe \\u0026 cycled back along the main roads through Lakehead, Ambleside \\u0026 met us at Wray Castle.

Well..What can I say! We hired some E-bikes for two days and the bikes,the service, and the helpfulness could not be faulted. Literally nothing was too much trouble. From allowing us to store our bikes in the adjacent pub the Sun inn overnight to meeting us and attending to our breakdown and swopping bikes in a really remote spot, (totally freak accident!) No one could ever ask for more! Luke and Nathan and the whole of the team deserve every success.\\nAmazing!

We did a guided tour around the country side. It was a great experience. The scenery is wonderful and Luke is a very friendly, caring and professional guide. We had a great time as a family.

Good bike, friendly service that could not have been more helpful.\\n22 mile circuit taking in Coniston Water.\\nQuiet lanes, very scenic and surprisingly tiring given we were using E bikes. A great workout.

Won a competition for 2x day electric bike hire here at the local Hawkshead Jubilee fair. Would absolutely recommend it for any non-cyclist/novice like myself. Not something I would've thought to do but the route recommended from Hawkshead to Langdale then to Ambleside then back to Hawkshead was easy to follow and enjoyable. Would never have considered renting an electric bike for the day and realistically wouldn't buy one now but would rent one again for a day trip as it makes travelling so much easier/enjoyable in the lakes. Would benefit from bells on the bikes in busier season (we travelled two days ago so it was quite quiet). Staff at the shop were very welcoming and happy to offer assistance and help. Would definitely rent bikes here when I plan to return next year.

A lovely village with lovely people, but don't use the local taxi service. He charged us £20.00 each way to go to Hill Top, which is a two mile, each way journey. We had no other way of getting there, as the bus service wasn't running & we'd already booked timed tickets.

Absolutely disgusting to see hawkshead tourist information shop selling these. When questioned on why they were selling them, the man very proudly told us he sells loads of them and they are no longer considered racist. I really loved this little village but I now have a bitter taste in my mouth if this is the kind of racism they condone.

Reliable service ,nice driver and car.. just be aware of minimum charge of £12. So it was £24 return for a 1.7 mile journey.. bit steep
