Extensive range of jams, honey's, chocolates, cakes, sweets and cheese as well as some alcoholic items. Relish and other sauces and a hot food counter. Well worth a visit especially if you are looking for presents to take home!

Good for where it is. My only sadness was that all the cheese was pre cut and sealed in quite small pieces. I prefer to buy my cheese in larger pieces suitable to the event I am catering for. Still, it was a good selection.

Great little deli with lovely selection of good quality specialist foods, much from local producers. They have arrangements with the best of local suppliers including Higginsons Butchers, Woodalls for bacon and sausage, local eggs and the fantastic bread from Apple Pie in Ambleside. The staff are always lovely too. A pleasure to shop there.

Large selection of items however was very disappointed in the service. Tried to ask the woman if dogs were allowed in but she seemed too busy to speak and walked away, then when she finally did pay us a little attention proceeded to tell me dogs were not normally allowed in. Both women were very miserable, no hello/ welcome, no smiles, no ‘you’re welcome’ when we said thanks for the pies after they had been reheated in the microwave. Will not be going back.

Very rude/grumpy lady serving behind the counter. "Yes" is hardly welcoming to customers.Whilst in the shop she was only pleasant to a local shopping.Cumbrian pasty overpriced and tasteless

A really nice little shop in a gorgeous village, we really enjoyed the fresh pies and homemade sandwiches made by some friendly staff

Called here for a takeaway lunch, used them several times before. Service was disappointing to say the least. Not a please or thankyou from the ladies working in the shop - even when I pointed out they'd only charged me for 1 flat white! Previous reviews also highlight the fact that the staff are miserable, they respond but do nothing to address the concerns raised. Also, I would've thought that as u was the only customer in the shop on a very wet day would have been positive for them - obviously not! Not sure I'll return here.

We popped in to The Honeypot as part of a short getaway to the Lake District. A lovely little deli that stocks a really great range of products, including food suitable for vegans (thank you!). The staff working there were really welcoming and kindly warmed up our purchases to eat. My partner got some local cheeses that he's really looking forward to trying, including the 'Hawkshead Hootenanny'!

The HoneyPot is really a specialty deli rather than a restaurant/cafe. You can get a few takeaway items from here (coffee/sausage rolls etc) & yes a few lovely tables outside in the charming Hawkshead square, but this place is primarily a deli. What an amazing deli it is too. It’s absolutely full to the brim of locally sourced items of drink & food along with delicacies from around the UK & in particular some wonderful items from Italy. Husband described it as “heaven” we purchased a local gin & beers.
