The Old Cobblers Cafe outside catering provided us with a fabulous 5 star lunch. Delicious sandwiches, sausage rolls, amazing cakes and cream scones. Everything fresh and well presented and everyone more than happy! Thank

Lovely little cafe. Small inside, with only 3 tables, but such a great welcome. Best pot of tea in the area...

Delightful little cafe with good quality food which is extremely good value. Its a little gem of a place that could be easily overlooked. Go find it!

Lovely lunch, great coffee and friendly service. It was our first visit, but definitely coming back when in Hawkshead.

These ladies know how to make a sandwich and keep you entertained with a welcoming smile and demeanour. Great food and very reasonably priced especially for the area and other venue prices. It's a must.

Superb home made cakes and savouries. Tried the sausage roll, fresh out of the oven - excellent! Also managed to sample a few of the cakes and traybakes. All lovely. Worthy of special mention for me is the coconut tart with chocolate base.

Lovely cafe in Hawkshead. We stopped for lunch and had the soup and sandwich combo. Home made marmalade on sale too

Nice friendly cafe centrally located. Small. Does a lot of takeaway breakfasts which must be good. Ambience would be better with gentle background music otherwise everyone's whispering.

Lovely little cafe just off the centre of hawkshead. We only had coffee and cake, all delicious and homemade. Quite basic menu but all, pies and sausage rolls included, made fresh. Reasonably priced. They only have 3 tables but on a nice day a takeaway would be ideal.

Tiny cafe in the centre of hawkshead village. Only 3 tables. Drinks served in lovely pottery and staff friendly. Cake was really good. Only complaints would be why wrap all the cakes in cling film? It doesn’t look nice. Also they turned away a family of 4 as they only had 3 chairs free but space for more. Buy more chairs! Crazy turning away business. Lovely quaint cafe but could be made bigger by clearing out unneeded furniture and getting rid of the cling film.
