Delicious Hot Chocolate ?

Our recent experiences in cafes have been really good and maybe our expectations were too high. Unfortunately the food was below average, service was pleasant enough but no atmosphere probably due to lack of customers. Not somewhere we will return.

This place is a little gem.The small English breakfast was perfectly cooked and just the right amount all made with locally sourced, fresh ingredients.Great coffee, homemade scones and kind, helpful, friendly staff.Don't miss it if you are nearby.

Against all the odds, snow and ice, the staff struggled to get into the café on Sunday 3rd of December, to prepare outside catering, tapas, for our Argentine Tango Christmas dance. They went above and beyond to get this food to us. It was wonderful tapas, excellently prepared and presented. We had lots of positive comments from our dancers about it. Thank you so very much for making our celebration fabulous. We would highly recommend their outside catering service. The Last Tango in West Cumbria dance group,

This is a little gem of a cafe and gift shop with lovely food and atmosphere, nestled on the roadside about 1 minute drive from Santon Bridge. Even though the cafe is quite isolated it does get busy even out of season when the locals frequent it. Well worth a visit.

Popped in for a quick lunch. Good service, good food, nice Earl Grey tea. Can recommend beef and onion baguette, and Cumberland sausage baguette.

A few of us went for early breakfast yesterday. The staff and owners made us feel very welcome and the service was great. The tearoom is very clean and well laid out. Plenty of options from cakes/scones and tray bakes. The breakfast/milkshake and coffee were fab and plenty of it. We will definitely be making regular return visits.Thankyou

I couple of friends and I popped in from breakfast this morning (one of the only places locally that's offers breakfast). We were greeted with a smile and a genuine hello as we entered and a devine aroma of sweet treats. We all had the traditional breakfast and it there was no issue with us making a change/requests. The lady who served us was dutifully, and more than happy to help if we needed anything while we waited for out food. When the food arrived I was surprised at the amount of food on the plate. I unfortunately didn't get a picture as there was no way I waiting to indulge. It's was amazing! Everything was beautifully cooked, and the best part is was the proper runny fried egg! Delicious! 100% would recommend! When we went to pay there was an AMAZING display of cakes, tray bakes and scones. The lady behind the counter information is that they had even more cakes and goodies that they couldn't fit in their bursting display and goodness. If I hadnt already inhaled a massive breakfast I would have had a piece for sure! The location is so scenic and beautiful and dog friendly. There is even a gift shop with local goodies in which I will be visiting sometime soon.A beautiful place, great food and helpful happy staff.Vegetarian options: They had options for a vegetarian breakfastWheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp up to the entrance of the tea room and nice wide doors

This was on our to do list while in area, sadly we will not be visiting again, the foul stench from the septic tank was unbearable, one couple left their meal as unable to eat it, if it was me I would have demanded my money back, when you have dogs you stay outside, it needs to be sorted urgently as it's gross. There wasn't mush selection of cakes as it sates on their website there is a good selection. First and last visit.
