Great food in a perfect environment. Wether you're popping in for coffee & cake, or a full English breakfast Her Citi has excellent food, and the coffee is GOOOOOD !

This was an experience I wasn’t expecting! The food and coffee were delightful. The furniture was so tasteful I asked where they had bought it. There is a library in the loo. In the shop is a vintage clothes section where I bought a stunning evening dress. The final purchase was a local ghost story book to help pass the dark nights! A wonderful way to pass an icy cold morning!!!!!!

It's a great café. Very pleasant and comfy. The staff and owners are very helpful and extremely friendly. The Food is great and if you have a dietary needs they are willing to help with that. All the food is homemade and very tasty. Cakes are amazing. Not only that they sell vintage clothing and other items as well

Fantastic service, which completed the food which was marvellous I had the homemade carrot and lentil soup which was accompanied by a warm cheese scone, and my husband had the cheese and onion quiche with new potatoes and a salad. Finished off with an illy coffee. Wonderful. It was worth the trip from Alston

Her Citi is a comfortable place to eat with a lovely atmosphere. The afternoon tea was excellent and was stated as the best afternoon tea we'd ever had. Debbie is always so pleasant and obliging, she is happy to arrange anything requested if at all possible. It is also good to look at the various housewares for sale and also the clothing ( which I have on other occasions purchased). Her Citi is definitely a place I am happy to review.

It's tucked away in a back street. We found it en route back into town after a fascinating morning at the Senhouse Roman Museum. We couldn't have had a more perfect light lunch, with really friendly service - and, in my case, washed down with an unexpectedly rewarding, alcoholic, dandelion and burdock! But don't be confused by the window display - just go inside and enjoy!

We attended for afternoon tea, sat down with a chat with the owner and made to feel welcome and happy. A pot of tea and a large gin started the afternoon. A play EPF sandwiches came out, egg, ham, salmon, cheese and ham to name a few.Ffooled by the size of the plate i asked for more which was given without issue. Little did I know there was a second round of cake and scones to come. The Scottish tablet was a particular delight, with a lovely raspberry mouse which really cleansed the pallet. We spent about 2 hrs on the place eating chatting with the staff and looking at the clothing on sale. We left with full bellies, a great experience and my wife had 2 jackets. All in all this was a great afternoon
