First time on this holiday park and we were pleasantly surprised. Its a small park & is out in the sticks. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The quality & cleanliness of the caravan was good. We only used the park as a base so we didn't use any of the camp amenities. As it was out of season there was no food on offer.

Fabulous family run park. Great location. Not too big. Plenty of space.

We’d checked out on the website and it had said dogs welcome. We walked over a mile to get there with our young children. We walked in, feeling intimidated by most of the bar staring at us and after negotiating the tightly packed tables on our way to the bar we heard a man shouting “Oi" at us, "No dogs in here" he then blurted. We then left, walked the mile back as we couldn’t bear to go back in.

Lovely quiet site only criticism I have is that as food not available every night the shop should store more to cater for this .

Very quiet and remote but at the same time not far away from the beach. It's No shop in the park and the local's pub did is below average and overpriced for what it is.Nice big playground for kids. Clean.

Caravan nice and clean, great base to explore the area. Big playground for children, nice pub, small shop in the reception.
Stayed in caravan for 4 nights,Van was clean and warm heating had been turned on prior to arrival.Large fridge freezer and cooker.Oven did'nt heat up very well but microwave was fine. There was only 2 of us but 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.Nearest big shop Lidl in Maryport.Pub was good no food at present as too early in the season. Our only gripe was the weather was very wet and windy. Not that you can do anything about that. The parking at the side of caravan was not hard standing and was like a swamp outside caravan felt like the car could get bogged in.Was very quiet and views across the fields was lovely when it stopped rainning.Would definately stay again.

Booked 5 nites over Xmas, left after 2 days as pitch was under 3" of water due to heavy rain.No refund as we chose to leave but we ordered xmas lunch and requested to takeaway. £90 for 2 unedible burnt dinners, starter ok,dinner burnt and dessert dissolved into mush. Requested refund for lunch but clubhouse is priveately run so we havent received anything. Were pensioners and my wife was between treatment for cancer so this was our Xmas treat,,,some treat. Pics are actuall dinners we were given. Fair warned

We rented privately on the park and it seems park don't care about dangerous electricity supply or gas supply. Reported to site and were fobbed off, must take injury or death for park to step in. We also had pans on floor due to water leak and water running onto lights in ceiling. What does it take for site to stop private cowboys ? renting dangerous caravans out.lady on site was aware of all issues from when we arrived. Starting with electricity and gas and leaking ceiling running water into lights. Mark seatle was name of owner I think. Avoid if you're looking for rental caravan.

Restaurant is shut, caravan is big but that is the only one good point, place is very small, isolated, kids play room and soft play doesn’t exist.

We arrived, granted its early October but no food is being served, had we been made aware of this before hand we would have made provisions. The caravan was a gold plus, nothing wrong with it but nothing special also. We paid for 3 nights, only stayed for 1, went to check out at 8:30am, nobody there. No instructions where to leave keys so we left them In the caravan. There is really nothing much nearby, if you're after peace and quiet then this place is great. We like to explore but there is no public transposrt so had to drive everywhere. I don't think we would visit again in the future.
