Very disappointed with a pub /hotel with so much history went infor a drink in the newly refurbished bar no character at all very bland you would have thought that there would be something to refect the history but just another modern bar

Visited this lovely pub whilst on holiday in the bill. Lovely home cooked food and very friendly owners . A real gem of a local pub with well kept ales and great atmosphere. Would not hesitate to recommend the pub to anyone. Family friendly welcome

So much choice for Vegans..We had the Vegan Stir Fry and it was delicious..Daughter and Dog were both very well looked after..Portions big and the staff are all lovely and very attentive...Lovely cold pints of lager too... Mother and father in law stayed in the hotel and really enjoyed their stay..Only slight qualm they had was that the shower was small. WE WILL DEFINITELY be back! ?
