Stayed here during a cycle trip. Staff are absolutely lovely. Turns out its recently under new management and they were fantastic. Catered to our every need and enjoyed some nice local ales and food in the pub in the evening. Would thoroughly recommend!

This is a lovely welcoming pub the managers are so kind and accommodating. Food was very good I had the chicken curry and my boyfriend had the scampi and chips . All homemade and we really enjoyed our meal . Would 100 percent come back when we are next in the area .

Crisp freshly ironed sheets and a comfy bed in room 2 tea coffee and kettle, small flatscreen tv, Wi-Fi and a shower over a nice deep bath all you need to refresh and have a comfy nights sleep.Food & drinks: Food is ok nothing bad to say about the meals we ordered. The breakfast was beautiful cooked freshly and locally sourced.

What a change since before lockdown, use to be local produce, good old fashioned food, ie, steak & ale pie, sausage & mash, 8 of us in bar on a Saturday night, & the 2 young lads behind bar called time 9pm, WHAT, went to sun & it had atmosphere plenty of people in, big shame about George & dragon, it's been run down to a bare minimum.

Well. A lot can happen in 2 years, back then we had the most delicious dinners here. This time absolutely everything went wrong. Very sad.

Overpriced, less than ordinary food.I cannot recommend the food, it's overpriced and nothing special. Our salad wasn't fresh and for the price you'd expect a lot more. The interior needed some TLCIt's unfortunate they have such a monopoly on dining out due to limited other options in Dent. I'd recommend driving out 15 mins to get some better food.

Delicious food, great team, very friendly and welcoming, and a lovely homely atmosphere. A nice variety of local ales too. A must-visit!
