Very busy on a wet Monday. Good service, lovely homemade soup and a decent cup of tea.

We stayed at the Old Sunday school next to the cafe. We went for a coffee one morning and breakfast on our last morning. The breakfast was sensational and fairly priced. We would definitely recommend visiting this Cafe if you are passing through or staying in Dent.

Stopped for coffee and cake but wish we’d had room for lunch ! Menu is amazing with so much choice. Everything we saw coming out of the kitchen looked delicious honestly. Next time we will definitely stop for lunch or Sunday lunch as that menu also looked truly amazing !! Oh and the coffee and cake was delicious!!!

Every time I'm in that part of Yorkshire I always head to meadowside cafe in Dent, even if it means a detour ?. The food is delicious and always packed with flavour . Their brownies are to die for !The coffee is great .Always get a warm welcome, and they love dogs, which is a big plus for me !Cozy atmosphere with a log burner roaring away makes this place a must visit.

We stayed for a couple of nights in the attached accommodation to the cafe. Fabulous cottage with a hot tub. Great accommodation and lovely little luxurious touches such as awesome shower/washing essentials. Accommodation also has a smart TV with access to loads of channels too and a well equipped kitchen area and a lovely log fire We ate breakfast on the Saturday and wow it was amazing Freshly cooked Super quality Amazing portions We took a few home baked things with us too for later such as the most amazing apple pie and sausage roll. We also booked in for Sunday dinner and the biggest problem we had with this is that it ended. Food was stunning!!!! Gorgeous and beautifully cooked roast beef, yummy Yorkshire puddings and the roast potatoes (with marmite) are wow. Fabulous service Fabulous location Fabulous people Lovely to meet Jackie and Adrian (and all their staff are lovely too) We will be back! Thanks Lee/Julie Ps dog friendly!!

Last summer, I had the privilege to visit some friends in the UK and they live nearby the village of Dent. My friends brought me to Meadowside cafe and meeting Adrian and his wife Jackie was amazing. Such welcoming, kind and warm people. The restaurant is modern inside yet offers an incredibly cozy atmosphere. Adrian is a genius! He brought me on a culinary journey through the history of British food, in the form of tapas, mixing tradition and innovation. It was LIFE CHANGING. One of the most incredible meals I've ever had in 31 years of life. If you're ever in the northern part of England, you must find the time to go try Meadowside Cafe in Dent!

Service was great with a good selection of drinks. Food was mainly very good but there were some bland dishes and everything had a spicy twist which is not for everyone. Made to feel very welcome

We were only visiting Dent to dispose of a shattered Microwave oven plate on a cold, wet summers day that was becoming more and more frustrating by the hour, and then! Meadowside Cafe, with friendly, courteous staff, and their lovely hot chocolate, turned on my inner sunshine and all was well. Planning to come back to try the food.

Walked from Sedbergh to Dent and found every pub in Dent closed at lunchtime! How lucky are we, because we found this fabulous bistro/cafe. Really friendly staff and gorgeous home made food - even a dog treat for our dachshund Frank. Food was so good we paid to take some away for our evening meal. A hidden treasure for sure
