It's a nice little bar in the village. There was a good range of beers to buy and a cosy atmosphere.

Visited a couple of years ago on holiday and back yesterday and today. Fabulous little bar which has great beer but also great gins and wine too. Wonderful atmosphere, delighted to see it thriving. Hard work to keep such a place not only running but really well!

I've walked by this place numerous times and it's usually rather empty and looks a bit desolate inside. Anyway, you'd have to be a very thirsty rambler indeed to entertain their prices.

It's small and only open at the back-end of the week, but you'll get a warm welcome. The cask beer (usually 3) is excellent and sourced from local breweries. Oh, and it's dog friendly.

Terrible hospitality by the staff. The owner should know his staff are rude and dismissive. But I imagine the person that served me was the owner, more interested in serving his friends. When I was forced to choose from the fridge because the tap selection was so poor I was told to “shut the fridge door” just as I was taking my beer from the fridge. The owner/ server then called us “wankers” on the way outNiceDon’t go here
