Looking for somewhere for breakfast and we stumbled on this place. So happy we did as the food was absolutely delicious. The staff were lovely and the decor was amazing as well. Will be defo coming here when we come back up this way again. Well done and to the staff as well.

Exceptional service! I came to enjoy a delightful Sunday Roast and I got just that! Minus the over cooked roast potatoes that were completely overruled by the mouth watering beef! I had a sticky toffee pudding as a dessert which was prevented beautifully and did not disappoint. I will be back again that’s for sure!Food & drinks: Drinks selection is great and the wine glasses are gorgeous adds a nice touch

The food and service was amazing, the staff was extremely welcoming. The beef brisket was delicious and so tender + tasty, their fish and chips was one of the best I’ve ever had. Their portions are HUGE make sure you are hungry :) very highly

We sat outside next to the real fire, there are also electric heaters overhead so we were very cosily warm. We sampled a mixture of food we could all share and pick at, Margareta pizza, garlic bread, onion rings, chilli chips and normal chips. We all enjoyed it. Inside the pub was packed but our food still arrived in a timely manner. Drinks were all good. I particularly enjoyed the flap jack cube that came with my pot of tea.

Food was amazing and lots of it! We were given a lovely table and the interior was beautifully designed. The owners and the waiters were all very friendly. Definitely the best bar/ restaurant in Ulverston!

5 out of 6 of the steak were ever inconsistent. No ones steak was cooked correctly, all of them were overcooked. Everyone was too hungry too ask for the meal to be replaced. Not what is expected of a meal in the farmers arms, based prior experience

Booked easily online Lovely pub in the centre of Ulverston, busy, good atmosphere. Seated quickly by friendly staff and drinks order taken and swiftly delivered. Food menu varied, good pub originals, with some additional specials. Ordered traditional fish and chips (smaller portion available great if you want a desert) and fish pie lovely individually plated and full of a variety of fish, all food piping hot. Deserts lovely fruity crème brûlée and Eton mess. Waiters and waitresses a real credit, checked if everyone was ok throughout the meal and ensured smooth efficient service Would recommend and will return.
