Lovely place food is great and plenty of choice, staff are very polite and attentive however tables being reserved is frustrating as they could be used prior to reservation time.

A great little cafe. Good food at a good price.

Good food, lots of friendly locals, excellent view and a great cause but the staff in the cafe are so so rude. They don’t lift their heads up to even speak to you on arrival. Any changes you need to make are like asking them to move the earth. It is such a shame because hospice cafes should be an amazing welcoming place.

Was here last at end of Sepyember and been before &Roast dinner was excellent. But today very dissapointed with food, staff lovely as always. Not sure if different chef but we had to send our Roast meals back to be reheated as the were less than luke warm. The beef was tough and stringy, roast potatoes were hard. Not sure what's going on? Other food around us looked lovely I must say. ?.

Regularly eat lunch at the Orangery, the customer service and food is amazing. My friends and I love lunch here. Well done to all the team, who all work very hard.

Friendly staff and volunteers. We enjoyed our lunch. (Catering for under 5's as well) Take away cakes 5 class!Parking: Available.Kid-friendliness: Yes.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.
Latest vist 2023: lovely lunch and great service, BUT please get rid of the awful dairy free milk sachets!! They are sweet and disgusting. Staff member said they got rid of the non dairy milk substitute in 1litre cartons as they were having to throw them away. Sorry, but I find it hard to believe you weren't serving 4 dairy free people in 10 days. (I get 4 lattes out of 1 litre). Remember that a quality brand oat and soya (oatly or alpro no sugar) last a lot longer in the fridge than dairy milk, I use oat milk all the time and it easily lasts minimum of 10 days. Now I can't get a decent non dairy tea or coffee here, I won't visit as often as I did, such a shame.

We also made some purchases in the shop really Happy with our goods. Thank-you to all staff.Dietary restrictions: You provided gluton free for one of our party. Much appreciated.Kid-friendliness: Our kids were looked after really well and enjoyed there lunch and ice cream.

This Café is so professional food, service don't hesitate you won't be disappointed. They do such good works for the local community and have a big heart nothing is to much trouble they get my vote.

A lot has changed at The Orangery, unfortunately not for the better. Cafe was almost empty but table service was scowling, argumentative, rushed and unfriendly. Basic order placed, but inattentive server got both the drink and food orders wrong! She also did not return to check on us. The blonde will not return. Newest manager was made aware of all of this but did not say 'sorry' or offer to put it right. Additionally the quality of the food has gone way down in the last year or two, while the prices have gone up. So if you must go, skip the food, and go for an okay-ish cuppa and the view.
