Is advertised as dine in and takeaway. Tried to book a table and was told it hadn’t been dine in for sometime. Fine, but then please don’t miss inform potential diners and update your website. Indian it is then!

We ordered half a crispy duck and pancakes for almost £17 for the dish and we literally recieved salty dry shredded CHICKEN mixed with about 1% duck. It was like they had run out of duck and thought we wouldn't notice the difference. What a disappointment. The cucumber with it was also out of date and slimy. They only take cash, didn't provide a receipt and we wouldn't get a refund.

Just had special curry fried rice special chow mien and crackers didn’t order till I got there waited 15mins cash only but fine the food was spot on and tasty with extra veg will definitely use them again o yes £19.50 cash

Big fan of the old Eastern Court restaurant and had slight trepidation about trying the takeaway seeing some of the Tripadvisor reviews. However, shouldn’t have worried, service was friendly, order on time and food lovely, just as good as the restaurant!

Awesome place!The foods are good.The staff is friendly also. We don't know it's cash only and the staff introduces the nearest ATM we can use.Definitely a worthy restaurant to pick up during the trip at Bakewell!

Got our order wrong ( number 6 ( 10/9/21) and the taste was bland with too much onion to bulk it up . Should have check before I left as it was £3 more thank I worked it out , boiled rice missing and in its place a beef meal .. they all tasted the same . When it was a restaurant it was good , won’t be going back

Service was poor. They wouldn't do a half rice half chips like every Chinese takeaway I've been to does, so will make you get full portions. They also don't take card. Had to ask where nearest cash machine was and they just pointed and said up there. I came back with the money and got no acknowledgement and had to ask a few times to pay for my order. No apologies for these things, just rude service. Curry sauce was a bit too thick, the egg fried rice just came plain and the chicken wings were overdone a little, too crispy. Overpriced.

Absolute shambles of a Chinese. Always forgetting something and nothing is ever on time. Staff are rude and no customer service skills what do ever. Shocking

We met a very amazing customer, who took away the takeaway at 5:10 PM and called in at 6:16 PM, saying that she had just eaten our food and it was not good, and she asked us for a refund with a very strong attitude. I was surprised to hear her describe the problems with our food, because we had never heard a guest say that about our food. I apologized and told her that we could make another free dinner for her, but she still asked for a refund and stated that they did not eat our food. After that, she came to our store with our food. I was surprised to find that she had eaten all the food except the takeaway box and some soup and bones. I was really surprised at how she came to the refund with dignity and integrity. I told her my questions and she refused to give any answer. She only told me she had two children waiting for her, asked me why I addressed her as a lady on the phone and suspected she was lying. I think it's an obvious fact that she's lying. I can only tell her that I will refund you now, but I will put her information into the blacklist and refuse any orders from her in the future. We do not welcome such customers into our store. Finally, before she left, she warned me that she would complain about me and leave a message on the Internet to let all the guests know that we were disgusting.

Avoid, disgusting service, had lovely food from here before, tonight however different service ribs chewy, salt and pepper chips double fried and hard. Chow Mein greasy, king prawns inedible tasted off. Rang to complain to be met with an arrogant man who didn't want to do anything, called me a liar stating i rang order through over 1 hr before i complained, stating i had eaten the food, granted the skewers were fine but the rest was in the bag. I had 15min journey back home. After much deliberating i stated i would come down to the shop with the food. I was met by a man who was so rude, he stated i had eaten some of it which i stated was only the skewers. After 10minutes he said "i have blocked your number and we don't like customers like you here" and did eventually refund my money, this was infront of other customers, appauling customer service, needless to say we wouldn't have returned anyway, sad as this the only local shop.
