Welcoming. Not like the peacock pub. A surprisingly nice place. open late on a Sunday for bakewell. Nice atmosphere. Chilled and relaxing. Good selection of draught beer.

The atmosphere here is great! Full of locals and visitors alike.Happily go back and can imagine it's a great place to go in winter with the great log burner going.

Great little place to find a good selection of ales lagers and cider at a reasonable price compared to prices elsewhere in the localityWell worth a visit, a very down to earth establishment with friendly staffFacility to sit out and watch the world go by if you wish.Parking: Pay and display car parks some distance away. Be aware traffic wardens regularly in the area

Just come back from Bakewell after a 3 day break. Joiners made the break all the way better, friendly owner and staff. They have 6 cask ales all kept well, something for everyone. Price wise on a par with other pubs, so go and visit, you know it makes sense.

Lovely sun trap outside but service was poor. My beer was good but soft drinks for the drivers in the group not so much. Flat soda etc. Such a shame hopefully others will have a better experience.

Great little find. Very hospitable. Barman was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the range of ales available. Did not serve food so cannot rate but had a decent choice of crisps, nuts etc.

Cracking little pub serving local ales. Live music in relaxed atmosphere. Dogs welcomed. Friendly staff with knowledge of beers.

Best ale bar we have visited in ages!! It was our 'local' for our mini break! Staff were really friendly, there was a fab selection of craft ales and a really friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend this bar! We will be back when we are next in the area.
Dropped in a couple of times whilst staying on Bakewell. Small ish micro pub with good selection of local beers and friendly bar man. Worth a visit.

Pleasant experience for quick early afternoon drink with pals. Rustic, but cosy interior, good selection of real ales, nice murmur of conversation and friendly bar lady. Just the job, thanks.

Great bar. Great cask and choice of keg. (Should've asked if we could bring our butties from the deli around the corner).

Nice craft ale selection, both cask and keg. A bit on the dear side, and most of the seating isn’t particularly comfortable. I really enjoyed the music selection (plenty of alt-rock) and overall the place has a nice atmosphere.

Stayed around the corner from here and popped in for a quick beer. Dog friendly!Amazing place, lovely vibe and a super selection of cask and keg tipples, and a wonderful range of spirits! We’ll definitely pop back whenever we are around!
