“We were visiting Bakewell and fancied some fish n chips. Was very impressed by the food! Light and crispy batter around a soft succulent fish. The chips were lovely and crispy, not one was left! Enjoyed it very much!”

“Really delicious fish & chips, I just read some other reviews before posting and maybe the restaurant has inconsistency, but for our (4 of us) fish and chips, all the fish was cooked perfectly and very tasty, also the batter was thin and crispy so not overbearing like some other batters. The chips were also great, in the restaurant at least they don't have any seasoning on by default, however there is seasoning on the table so people can choose how much they want on their chips, I quite liked this approach! Also, they had HOMEMADE tartare sauce that was absolutely delicious and they gave us a very generous portion! In the restaurant the chairs were slightly tight but the food was so good that it made up for it!”
