Absolutely loved my experience here! Lovely space, dog friendly, and super welcoming staff! They made space for my pram and offered a highchair (the fact they did it before I asked is what is so wonderful!) They pay attention to detail which makes it such a wonderful cafe! Two teabags in the tea pot for two so it’s not a weak tea. My sister asked for no tomatoes in her sandwich so they didn’t put tomatoes in the salad. This level of service is above and beyond and shows a real level of care and attention to customers!

Had lunch here and enjoyed it. I tried the Bakewell pudding with custard (well when in Rome!) with the speciality orange hot chocolate. My wife had the cheese scone and a Bakewell slice. I'm not actually a fan of Bakewell tarts normally but I enjoyed these which were a little lighter than the normal tarts. The staff were friendly and polite and considering it's in a tourist area I thought the prices were very good.Would definitely go again if ever I am back in Bakewell

This is a beautiful quaint wee cafe with lovely staff. The food was absolutely gorgeous and so reasonable for a tourist area . The menu was very varied and we all loved our choices but the famed Bakewell slices were simply delicious and my hubby also tried the Bakewell pudding and pronounced it very moreish . The cafe was busy but the staff were so pleasant and helpful it was just a delight to dine there. Thank youVegetarian options: Lots of tasty choices

Lovely little cafe. The team made a lot of effort to ensure our toddler was comfortable and had everything he needed which really helped us enjoy our lunch stop plus the food was lovely and very reasonably priced.

Very friendly cafe, dog friendly. Lovely warm cheese scone with cheese and onion marmalade. Canine menu too, consisting of several flavoured, good quality chews.

Can across this lovely little cafe. A hidden jewel. Such kind and friendly staff. A lovely bowl of soup and warm cheese scone. Pumpkin spice latte, carrot cake traybake and clementine cranberry tray bake rounded out our lovely meal.

Such a lovely lunch with my husband and 3 year old little boy. Without even needing to ask we were offered a ‘picky lunch’ of anything of my sons choice, from cheese, ham, cucumber, tomatoes, bread and butter. All perfect for most 3 year olds! We also ordered a brownie for my son for after his lunch and this was thoughtfully kept behind the counter until he had finished his lunch. Amazing and friendly service and nothing was too much effort. Thank you!

Visited today for a spot of lunch & I couldn’t be happier..absolutely lovely lady that seated & served us. Lunch, tea & cake all perfect. Very friendly atmosphere & the dog was welcome too. I can’t recommend highly enough. Thank you for making our visit so good, we’ll definitely bee back!

Amazing service. I needed to eat gluten free and they made me a gluten free jacket potato and beans which was delicious. I wanted to try gluten free Bakewell tart which sadly this cafe didn’t have (although they did have some tasty looking g/f cakes) . The owner kindly told us about a baker that sold g/f Bakewell tarts in the town and suggested we bought one and then we could eat it in her cafe. This was so incredibly kind and made me feel included. We will definitely be revisiting when we return to Bakewell. Heartily recommend this cafe to all g/f eaters!

Great little cafe, the staff even put the two of us on a table laid for 4 to ensure our dog had room to settle. good selection of food and great service.
