Went for a family celebration. Food was excellent..... Recommend the Fish Pie. Good quality and decent portion size. Very friendly staff and set in lovely surroundings. Well worth the visit ?Food & drinks: All food we had was good.... Recommend the Fish Pie ? ?

Superb service, superb food, superb rooms, could not have asked for any more. Value I still can't believe in terms of overnight stay. Food fairly priced for the quality. Loved the place. My wife had zero complaints or niggles.....I think a first in 20 years! Super Job. ?

Beautiful location with lovely views. The rooms and amenities are second to none. The staff are friendly, engaging and make it such a lovely place to stay. We had lunch and dinner, and then the breakfast (which was Inc in the room price) and I can't fault the quality. Will definately be returning. We booked direct through their website, as the so called cheaper booking apps, were more expensive. Unfortunately we only stayed for one night so I cant comment on the surroundings for things to do, and to be fair the comfort of the room made it difficult to want to leave it!

We had the best time staying with the family at the Peacock. Fantastic place, definitely would love to stay again. Beautiful rooms, friendly staff, great food.
We had a super stay over! Arrived a little earlier than check in, the cheerful foh man was more than happy to get us I. Our room. The room itself was comfy, country and modern! Even a big scone to enjoy!! We had dinner in the restaurant the room was buzzing with people! The hosts were so friendly and the food delicious same reflected in the morning for breakfast! We will be back! Great value for money

We very much enjoyed our stay here except for one thing. The staff were all very friendly and helpful but what doesn’t fit with the general upmarket feel of the place is that all meals (including even breakfast) have to be ordered at the bar. This rather lets down what would otherwise be a faultless operation.
