I stood at the counter for ages whilst the girl filled the shelves with pop.

Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Absolutely love visiting any time of day. Fabulous choice from toast or toasted teacakes, to an amazing choice of paninis and the legendary "hostie" (& yes, I've tried them all!). Lots of tasty sweet treats and don't forget to check the specials board on the counter because you wouldn't want to miss anything!!Dietary restrictions: My husband is coeliac and requires a gluten free option. HOST are very accommodating and knowledgeable and the food is amazing.

1st time of going here, really nice food had a sausage roll, and it's the best I've ever had . The hot chocolate was really nice. I even had the fancy pattern on

It was my first time going to host today and can definitely say I will be making it a regular thing. I’ve just opened a salon around the corner and don’t really know the area so it’s nice to know there’s a lovely space to sit have a drink/food and do some admin in a lovely space. It’s also super affordable too!! And the staff were lovely.

NEVER A BAD VISIT - honestly this place is 10/10. Food is always delicious, hot, presented so well! Ambience is friendly, busy ( but always able to get a table), and social! Will continue to be a regular customer whilst they keep up this amazing work! Proper gem and would recommend to everyone! Here is some photos from my last few visits over the last couple of weeks!

I love having a spot of food here, the food is not only outstanding but fantastic. All food/Drinks are prepared well and never disappoint me, the sizes of food are great and there is so much choice. The Food is always very tasty and leaves me feeling full. The prices are fairly reasonable for what you get as well. I love how it welcomes dog (well behaviour) and all the staff are super friendly and helpful. The cafe is small inside but does has a few seats outside as well, for those sunny days, it also gets super busy very fast at certain times. But dispite this the staff never seem to be worried or rushed because of this. The atmosphere is great its also lovely and warm and is decorated very well. The main reason I love it here, is I'm gluten free and vegetarian so it's hard to find places I can safely eat and I'm not limited to 1 or 2 items there is plenty of choice, which is amazing to see. Keep up the great work guys/girls ?

Despite preparing a huge amount of information to say about Host, I need to keep people awake, so here goes...Do you need gluten free food?Do you have a craving for a bacon sandwich on chunky white bread? If so, go to HOST!Enjoy your sandwich with an expertly prepared and served coffee (I recommend the latte) and listen to the great (some may say eclectic) musical playlist in the wonderful atmosphere this place provides. The attention to detail and a true understanding of catering gluten free is such a welcome addition to Clay Cross and I look forward to every visit I make.I cannot fault Christian and the team in dealing with people who are coeliac or have an intolerance to gluten. Please keep this refreshing approach to GF going and I'll see you again soon!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options are provided ensuring people who are coeliac can relax and fully enjoy the occasion.

A real surprise, wasn't even aware it existed. Really good fresh food, lots of choice and reasonable price. Choosing was a bit challenging!

Thank you for HOSTING us for my best friend’s baby shower. Everything was perfect, and it was such a pleasure to have our event with you. The grazing boards were amazing (SOO much food), and you were just so lovely to be around and spend the day with. We couldn’t have asked for anything more! Faultless!!

Lovely little coffee shop - quality coffee and the brownie was so incredibly rich! It was really busy so can't guarantee a seat however I think that's a sign of a good coffee shop! Music was a little loud for my sensitive ears so knocked one star off just for that. Tbh if there were quarter stars then I'd have only knocked a quarter star off for it. 10/10 would recommend!**Edit** I have added on a star back up to 5* because of the great reply re the music. Lovely place, get yourselves there (no I'm not on commission ?)

Came here with my mum and son for coffee and cake. Friendly, polite and attentive staff, a little overpriced but nice. The only real problem was how hot the room was, even with doors open it was stifling (not a particularly warm day either!)But overall a nice place to go if you're looking for a bit more than a greasy spoon.Dietary restrictions: Pretty good options for GF
