Limited veg options but great 1 to 3 course menu. Soup of the day was OK, bread was OK, homemade tart though was excellent. Not really value for money as it feels like homecooked food presented really nicely. Was expecting abit more for main course, but I could have picked the wrong one as the chicken was OK.. nice friendly staff and great cafe bistro atmosphere. We were lucky to get a table without booking even though on a weekday as they were booked out.

Wonderful dining experience. Everything was freshly prepared and very well presented. Our choice of wine was also very good.

Needed somewhere for a coffee whilst I had a spare 30 mins. I was recommended Higgs Bistro and wasn’t disappointed. This is a great little place with lots of character and awesome staff. This was a place where the service was outstanding and the coffee and food superb . Quaint and cosy. Stop on in

Very nice staff ... good food...tibe and clean location ...
Celebrated my 50th Birthday with a large family group at Hoggs on Saturday night & I’m sure glad I did. The table (for 13 of us) had been prepared beautifully in the garden room & the food, ambients & service were all really special. Thanks for a lovely evening, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experience .

We were a group of 13 and could have been unwealdly but we all wrote our menu selections on the form they'd prepared and everything went well. The food was really good, tasty. Some of the veg was a bit more crunchy than we would have done at home but that seems to be the trend nowadays. A good selection of choices on each course.

…love going for lunch and as a special treat dinner too. Very English and good menu. Dessert choices make me regret having starter but still have starter. My wife and I and family love the treat when we go.Parking: OK for dinner but awkward for lunch.
