Had a take-away Chicken Tikka Masala with rice and peshawar naan. Good prompt service and arrived hot. Decent portion but the chicken was dry and the masala sauce was bland and tasted as if it had been watered down. You could see the water on the plate. Disappointing really and not the usual standard.

By far the best Indian restaurant around this area, the food quality and flavours were wonderful, the prices are on the higher side but you get what you pay for! We can't wait to return here, highly recommended, you will not be disappointed.

Visited here with my other half for an evening meal and was amazed with the whole place, staff were very welcoming and friendly. Food was exceptional and worth every penny. Restaurant itself was very clean and beautifully decorated with intimate or more open seating to suit. My other half was obsessed with the robot that followed the waiter to serve the food

January business trip dinner. Nice meal. Good attentive service. The relish tray was a bit different from the normal which made a change. I think more restaurants should have signature items to set them apart. Two poppadoms. The mixed balti was very tasty, but perhaps could’ve done with a little bit more sauce. The rice was well cooked and fluffy and the garlic naan was exceptional well cooked and plenty of garlic. I will happily return to this restaurant. Next time I’m in Derby

A special place for an eve with friends. Great service and a warm friendly welcome from the moment we walked in. (Thanks to Shaz and his team. Plus the robot waiter which was fun) The food was fresh, flavorful and very well presented, with choices for each of us. Plenty of it too. We were able to take some home with us.

What a Place! What fantastic food and drink!, What a Team! What Service.. and What a friendly, kind group of people! It was infectious, not just shown to us by Ash and his team, but it was felt throughout the whole Dining Suite! It wasn't long before strangers were enjoying the atmosphere and fine experience together. Strangers between tables were infected by the special blend of the "Shalimar Gold"experience, being melted together .. Such a pleasant warm time! Now the food, menu and attention to detail ... First Class, "Off The Scale", delightful, are expressions that don't do this enough justice. Cleanliness and attention to detail is very evident. It appears that no expense has been spared in the decor, maintenance and determination to be "Outstanding" I'm looking forward to visiting again and have no reservations about recommending this to everyone!
